This Papa Murphy's poisoned me and the owner refused a refund and hung up on me when trying to resolve the issue. I ordered a gluten free pizza(I have celiac disease) and they gave me a regular pizza. They do not mark the prepared pizza in any way to indicate whether it is gluten free or not so I had no idea it contained my allergen until after eating the pizza and experiencing intestinal bleeding the following days. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund and they confirmed that the pizza they served me was NOT gluten free. The man on the phone was very apologetic for the mistake and assured me the owner would take this problem seriously and call me back. The owner, Annie, left me a voicemail stating they will only refund/replace my order if I was able to bring it back to the store. Annie also claimed to have an audio recording of my call-in order in which I 'confirmed' the pizza not to be gluten free. During the call, I asked for gluten free pizza(which comes in medium only) and the man taking my order replied 'medium right?' And I said yes, because a gluten free pizza IS a medium pizza at Papa Murphy's. Because I know I did in fact order gluten free pizza, I explained to Annie that I was having difficulty believing I wouldn't have said gluten free when ordering, after having Celiac for 7 years and saying gluten free daily, I asked if she was able to send me the audio recording or if I could come in and listen to it but Annie cut me off and said she could not do that, said that the recording showed I confirmed a regular pizza, and she would not give me a refund without bringing the pizza back to the store or otherwise she could give me 50% off my next order. I told her I don't think I would want to eat there again and was in the middle of my next question when she hung up the phone on me. She has my phone number, I waited for a call back in case it was accidental but it seems it was not. I will try to file a complaint with the county health and safety department in the hopes of preventing this company from poisoning other customers but I can't think of...
Read moreI will never go back to this location again. They have screwed up on my order on two separate visits and only offer $3 off my next order. Which i paid $1 more for orginal crust which i didn't receive so I'm only getting a $2 off my next order and u get attitude when u try to use it. Even tho its farther from my home...i will b going to the other Corvallis location or the one in Albany. If i could have given no stars i would have....so just giving an update. I called headquarters last night and I was told someone would call to resolve the issue. The owner of the store called just a few minutes ago. Stuck up for her employees and acted like a child and hung up on me. Its really sad when the customer is right policy is thrown out the window. My husband works in the automotive industry and gives away work to customers just to keep them. The owner of this store argued over a pizza thats on sale for $11 right now. In my...
Read moreLoved this Papa Murphy's as it is much bigger than our one in Monmouth. They have four people working on a shift instead of the two I'm used to seeing most of the time in our local store.
The store has a tile floor that looks like it was installed specifically for covid-19 but it's really been there for years. It has tiles that are mostly one color but then every six feet there's a small little grouping of tiles that are different color. So believe it or not it already has built in distancing squares for people to stand on. Pretty amazing all those years ago that they would have built a tile system that would be perfect for covid-19. They also still have benches for people to sit on while you wait for your pizza order which is something I really appreciate.
The Corvallis Papa Murphy's definitely has a lot going for it and I hope the folks there...
