This morning at approximately 9:30AM I arrived at this location to purchase breakfast before the start of my fiance and I’s day. Upon arrival, I heard a lady shouting at her employees and told them to “Stop talking right now and stand there.” I was taken aback seeing as I was by the front door and I could hear her loud and clear, as could other people in the store. It was as if we all silently exchanged looks with one another. Despite the discomfort, I still ordered my food and waited patiently for the food to arrive. There was nothing wrong with our food, however, there was many of problems with our experience. The problems didn’t stop there. What appeared to be an employee came in to speak to the manager and while she waited patiently near the front for him, he arrived to tell her that he would speak to her on HIS time and not hers. He then ordered her to go to the back, and though she was not in uniform, she did. He then publicly stated that she was always “bitching”. I was sitting in the middle of the store at this point and I could still here this conversation. This upset me deeply because I feel that employees do not come to work to be talked down to by management. Whatever the reasoning was for them speaking hostile, it was inappropriate and unprofessional. I decided to speak to the manager to find out his name, which I found to be Cork. He explained to me that I should let him deal with this by looking at the cameras and listening to the audio, which, doesn’t solve the problem seeing as he was part of the problem. He said that if I wrote a complaint that he would be the one reaching out to me seeing as he is the store manager. Because of this, I wrote a corporate complaint and I am also writing one here for others to see. Even if it’s just one person that sees this, I hope this manager stops...
Read moreWe don't go to McDonald's very often, but the last few time we have gone, it has not been very enjoyable. There is a large man that keeps barking orders at the workers and belittles them a lot. Our cashier Mike is so unsure of what he is supposed to do because every time he make a move this man questions him and every move he makes. My sandwich came out wrong, and I motioned Mike and he came to our table and took my sandwich to make it right. This large man made him bring it back to me and instead of just telling Mike that he can just give me another sandwich he says in a loud voice to Mike " what do you want me do to with that. I'm not going to do anything with that " You can tell that the employees are very uncomfortable and unsure of themselves around this guy. I have also seen a large girl doing the same sort of things. This one time we were there she was making fun of an employee in front of the other employees. They are both very loud and belittling to their employees. I feel so bad for them. I just sit and stare at all this going on. There is no reason to micro manage the employees if they have the proper training and positive feed back. I hope that they all get better jobs and don't have to put up with...
Read moreYesterday I went to McDonald's and ordered 8 mcchickens. When we left the drive thru we only had 6. So we turned around after handing out the 6 to our 6 children.. I told my wife to pull into a spot so we didn't have to wait in the drive thru line.. I walked in with my receipt and was greeted by a gentleman at the counter. Told him about the mishap and he said no biggy.. the girl making the food said very blatantly that they needed to see the bag in order to get the additional 2 mcchickens I paid for.. I said my kids are already eating the 6 we had and the girl said well, nothing we can do about it... so good job McDonald's you got over on 2 mcchickens that I paid my hard earned money for and didn't get. I work for a living so I wasn't trying to get free food I was trying to get food I had paid for and basically got told thanks for your money have a nice day.. I shouldn't expect much it being McDonald's but the principal of the matter is I didn't receive all of what I paid for. If you want happy customers, hire happy employees that can take accountability for their mistakes instead of saying I'm SOL because of their inability to count to 8. Sincerely someone who won't be coming back...
