El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Covina

I have been going to this location for years and most recently I have have nothing but bad experiences due to new staff. The employee named Magda has given the worst customer service and has a bad attitude. I don’t understand why people work in customer service when they are bitter, rude people. She needs to be cleaning tables or the restrooms because she does not belong in the drive thru. Each time she’s taken care of me she either has rudely handed me my food and has walked away from the window before I can request anything or she has said pull up to the front and someone will walk it out. That never happened until she started. I would always receive good service before and would never have to wait in the front, it’s a drive thru. Almost unbelievable. Shockingly poor service. Salsa bar is wiped out, your choices are yellow pico salsa 1/2 frozen, completely frozen onions, or maybe 3-4 cilantro stems. Restaurant is trashed. Employees literally looking like they are told to stand there. Worst experience I've ever had here. Sweeping the floor, then the seating booth, then the broom flying over the table top, to land with a thud on the next seating booth. And the trash on the tables, also swept off....with the same broom..... did not even get offered a receipt and when i gave her my money to pay she took it walked off into a back room, came out, dottled around, then back to the office and then back to the front....didnt even offer my change....i then watched her do it again and if the guy had not just stood there, I'm sure she was gonna pocket his change....terrible terrible terrible...

Left a bad review, thought I was being harsh and deleted it right away. Chose this location on accident and just as bad as last time. 1st time came at 9:25 to get my to go order and doors were locked I had to wait 20 mins in drive through to get my food. This time sub par service again and the burrito was super small. I had to remind the guy at the counter of the drink. When I got back to my destination I found there's no utensils, no dressing, no salsas, no napkins, no chips that came with the meal. Choose the next pollo loco on Badillo if you can. Avoid...
