My Omega had little problem, first I checked with Omega authorized dealer, only to found out that they will charge me $600 for initial check in and they will tell me how much will it cost later (I wasn't sure whats this initial $600 for or how much it will end up) then I took down to J N Jewelry in Covina.
Owner checked my watch, told me that he think, there might be 2 kind of problems, his estimation was around $150 including labor - assemble, dissemble + cleaning+ oiling whole parts and replacing broken parts.
Few days later he called me that my Omega is ready. When I got there to take my watch, once again he explained to me the whole procedure what he have done. Read moreNot sure who the gentleman was who assisted me but he was kind enough to explain that since my watch was solar it did not require a new battery. I was kind of embarrassed because I bought the watch and had forgotten 😊. Anyways, he proceeded to explain to me what I could do to fix (place the watch as close as possible to a light source; preferably, LED or similar for a few hours and the watch will be back to normal. They have always been so helpful and awesome people.
Yesterday, I went to have my husband's seiko watch wristband broke and the lady in the counter helped me. She was so nice and warm. It took her less than five minutes to fix the wristband, and only charged $5, she doesn't even want me to tip her (I wanted to tip her because she is soooo nice)
All in all, never had a bad experience at this place, they are a local mom and pop shop, please...
