Updated Review:
So here's the thing... I loved this place in the past because the donut burgers are amazing. The thing is, the service is going down hill dramatically it seems. The past few times we've gone, we've had to wait about 5-10 minutes just to even be greeted. The time before last we went, we stood at the counter for at least 10 minutes with nobody in front of us before even being acknowledged. Tonight, we waited about 5 minutes at the bar. As far our our order tonight, our fries were all over cooked and hard as a rock, and then, I ordered the donut burger, and it came with bacon..... It's NEVER come with bacon before and i don't like bacon so I definitely didn't order it. My roomate who was next to me, ordered a burger which came with bacon, he said it was over cooked and hard to bite into. My other friend ordered the exact same thing as me but his didn't come with bacon. So neither of us ordered our food with it, but one of us got bacon. It feels as if there's only 1 person back there cooking and he/she hates their job. Burnt fries, cold food, and EXTREMELY slow service. And let's not forget about the disaster of a parking lot which is WAY too small. Say what you will, but everyone knows there aren't enough spaces. My group of friends saw someone tonight have an accident while trying to leave the parking lot because they didn't have enough room. The place also really needs a deep cleaning and a new coat of paint on the inside. It just feels dirty. Again, I hate saying this, because I've brought 10 or so people here just so they could try some of the "non-traditional" menu items. But after tonight, I just don't know if I can suggest this place anymore. Need more examples of what I'm talking about as far as service and other issues? Read the reviews for Butter Krisp on Google itself....

The food was amazing--burgers, fries and donuts were all the best I've had in a while.
I think our waitress was struggling. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive, and then it was the wrong order. Like not even close to what we ordered. Then another (younger) waitress who seemed like maybe she was a manager came out and apologized to our table and the table next to us (who came in 15 minutes after us) whose order was also delayed. She offered us free donuts and we said we'd love to pick some up on our way out as dessert and she agreed.
After this exchange we overheard from all the arguing behind the counter that our order had never been entered. So now we're at 30 minutes waiting and the kitchen is just getting word about us.
The table next to us, again seated after us and also comped free donuts because their food was delayed, was served before we were. We finally received our food after an hour. It was amazing. Possibly even worth the delay.
On our way out we chose our donuts, as discussed while we were waiting for our meal. It was the same waitress/manager that offered us free donuts for the delay, but she charged us for them. I didn't say anything, because it feels awkward and cheap to be like "um, no, remember you said we could have them for free?" And it's just a couple of bucks. But the whole thing made me feel invisible and bothered me enough to make me want to write this review.
I would definitely go back because the food is amazing and the odds of having a similarly negative service experience again seem remote. But right now I...

I decided to find out for myself what the "Fuss" was all about and I did just that! I live on the "WestBank" which is on the other side of the Mississippi River Bridge(GNO) 15 minutes from New Orleans Louisiana...10 minutes if you really think Algiers is New Orleans but is on the Westbank the "Bestbank" what everybody been saying lol. I dont normally visit covington but I have been sense my friend needs a ride to his job there! I notice a sign saying "Hot" glazed Donut which caught my interest! As I walked thru the doors I was greated by Ms. Sarah and Ms. Blayr which welcomed me to this fine establishment located next to McDonalds which has nothing over the "Butter Krisp Diner" in food and especially customer service. I orders 2- glazed donuts which was "Hot" & "Fresh" which how it should be! I also orders some kristal Burgers that what we in "Nawlins" call them with "Hot" fries and a large coke to chase down what was good for my body and soul. My order came out in a timely manner and Ms.Sarah ask me if I needed anything else than after 10 minutes of eating my delious food, Ms.Blayr ask if there was anything else I needed! Ms.Sarah & Ms.Blayr are a valuable asset to this company and there need to be more of Ms.Sarah & Ms.Blayr working at this location.I "Highly" recommend all my followers and family and friend to this location.Support your local establishment such as "Butter Krisp Diner"and ask for...
