I took my son late afternoon on a quiet Sunday. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by Kaiden who was also our server. He was excellent! He answered all of our questions and gave the perfect drink recommendation. He made my mango drink and it exceeded expectations. We had the guac as an appetizer. The chips weren’t traditional tortilla chips they were pita chips. It made for a nice contrast with the chunky guac that was made to perfection. My son ordered the boorito with ground beef and a guac salad. It was huge! He was full before he got through half of it! He said it was delicious. I ordered the mexican pizza with carne asada and the guac salad. It was AHHMAZING!! It was served on a crispy pita bread. All of the toppings were fresh. The carne was super flavorful as well as tender. Our entire meal and experience was nothing less than perfect. Kaiden gave us the perfect amount of attention. He was very friendly, kind, and helpful. I would highly recommend this place. The art work, lighting, and ambience did not leave anything to be desired. I will definitely be making the drive back from Metairie. It is absolutely worth it!!!

We were in Covington for some errands. After a long day and a lot going on we decided a ā€œdate nightā€ dinner would be fun. We don’t live in the area so found a place on google. It looked cute and like it might have a decent vibe and food … It was even better! We had a couple drinks, The Bandit and a Strawberry Mimosa. We got a Churri Queso with Pita and chips. It was so good we splurged on a second one. The Entre’ were a Shrimp Enchilada and Mexican Pizza. The sides of rice, creamy esquite corn, and a shrimp and corn soup. I’m a foodie, I love to eat, my partner is Latin and very in tune with the authentic flavors. This dining experience was so far and away better than either of us expected. From the amazing service provided by Abby, to the off the chart food, insanely good drinks, and camp/fun atmosphere this was the best dining experience in and around New Orleans in months. Great job!

The Pink Agave is decorated very pink. The atmosphere is pink with cute housemade tequlia drinks. They don't server any types of wine. During lunch hours, seating times are quick. They also offer outdoor seating which always gives an establishment on maps an extra star rating in my reviews. The food was okay.... It's Mexican inspired but quality is not 100%. The menu is mostly tacos. Once we ordered items were out within 5 mins-yes that fast. Our wait staff was Sara who was fun to interact with, but professional and attentive. Overall it's a cool place to check out if you like pink, tequila drinks, fast servive in downtown Covington but not concerned with high quality menu, food and drink list. The service is 5 stars.

I never really review, but after numerous bad experiences here I feel like I have to say something. Went in this week for a quick bite and a drink on my way home from work. Walked in the door and waited to be seated. There were at least 3 people at the door none of such even acknowledged me even though they clearly looked and saw I was waiting to be helped. Fine. So I walked up to the bar and took a seat. I saw the bartenders were busy so I looked at the menu on my phone a bit while they caught up. Well, 10 15 minutes went by and again, no one could bother to greet me or to even drop an actual menu by. Finally I was able to catch the bartenders eye and flag him over. Ordered a quick appetizer (chips and dip) a water to start. Wait on the app wasn’t bad maybe 10 minutes. I put my drink order in when he dropped the app and he looks like he’s starting to make it. Ok, another 10 minutes goes by, nothing. Another 5 minutes. Nothing. At this point I’ve finished my food and im ready to go. And during all this a couple and their young children (toddler age) have planted themselves down next to me and allowed their kids to cry and scream….. at the bar top!! A manager is no where to be found btw and if they are you wouldn’t know bc everyone wears tshirts with no way to identify who is who. Finally, about 20 minutes and still no drink I’m about to ask anyone I can for the check when the bartender brings my drink. About 5 minutes later I get the check. Food was good drink was weak, but overall not bad. Timing was absolutely atrocious and so was the service. I really hope management steps it up soon because the food here is always on point but the service is absolutely...

I've been a very frequent visitor to Pink Agave - Cov since it's been in our community! Tonight - by far , was my worst night!!

First let me say , this was my second time this week in the building and what a big difference in the two nights. First night was Thursday & our serve was PHENOMENAL!! S/O to the beautiful soul - I can't remember her name but she was def Hispanic, perfect skin and personality. Tonight was night / of the week and PEYTON/PAYTON was ok until she wasn't. The order I placed was incorrect - on her end , as she came back to the table to verify my order and I told her yet again what I wanted : HOWEVER my order was still incorrect. when I told her this , she apologized and told me what she thought she heard , despite the other 2 people at the table telling her she what was actually said. she agreed to get me a cup of what I originally asked for! She then returned moments later saying she needed to take the whole order back......anyone who has worked in a restaurant knows rule no.1 - don't send your food back to the kitchen , that wasn't an option for me. As I have managed fast food before , all I wanted was my cup of requested protein. The manager , Dariella comes over and gives me every attitude possible , despite her servers mistake !!

Angry wasn't the word ! luckily , I have friends who know people and have already escalated the issue to the appropriate folks to get this taken care of or make the appropriate folks aware of HOW things were taken care of at this establishment tonight.

Nevertheless, I will certainly be taking a break from the...

First time visiting the restaurant. We drove over from the MS Gulf Coast to meet our daughter and grandson. They drove in from Baton Rouge. Looking for a restaurant I just googled restaurants in Covington and this place looked like a happy uplifting place. I would say it's a Lil twist to your average Mexican restaurant. For starters we shared the Chips & Queso sauce. I ordered the three tacos with two sides. I chose Beans and rice. My wife had the three enchilada dish. The enchiladas didn't hardly have anything inside of it. My daughter had the three taco dish like I ordered. Don't remember what my grandson had but he did eat 3/4 of it. Drinks, me diet coke and daughter water and small margarita and wife also a small margarita and grandson water. The taco size, The palm of my hand. The margaritas are on the small size. I know we ordered small but there really small for the price. The plates that the main course came on were all chipped up on the sides. All four plates. I was like WOW that's not a good impression on customers. The service was very good and came with a smile. I wouldn't say I was impressed or disappointed with the taste of there food. But for the price and quality of the food id pick a different restaurant next time. We spent $100 for lunch. $20 on tip. There's other restaurants in the area with better tasting food for the money. Was very clean and neat ! My Honest opinion of...
