Einstein Bros. Bagels — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

The store has four staff members behind the counter. One was at the register helping The only other customer waiting to be served so I said, "Good morning" to the other team mates behind the prep bar when I walked up after checking out the bagel selection for the 1/2 or so dozen I was deciding on. They have a unique selection of bagel flavors I wanted to try. I mean, I made eye contact and was totally ignored by all three who had just been in a discussion about dogs and boyfriends. Obviously they know words and can speak so what is this? I would have stayed in my car and ordered online had I read the reviews before I pulled into the parking lot except they don't offer online ordering at this location! Absolutely terrible customer service. I walked right out and not one staff member asked if they could help me. Others writing that the workers seem aggravated people want to come in and buy bagels at the bagel shop they work at is 100% true. The fact that those reviews were a year ago is ridiculous. I first started coming here in 2002 to skip math class and write terrible science fiction stories. I left the area for 20+ years and have visited a few times since I've been back.

The basic layout is the same (but has been modernized a bit, of course) but the coffee is just as good as I remember. The staff is different but just as friendly, prompt, and efficient as they were back in the day. Every time I'm in the area, I buy a medium coffee for old times' sake. I'm never disappointed due to the high quality roast.

In all honesty this is one of the nicest places around to get good quality food and also have great customer service! I managed to spend $17 and this is some of the best tasting food I have had in a long time! Also with only 2 staff members inside they made the meal fast and I quote "perfect"! I wish I could show you a picture of the sandwich I got because it was one of the best looking sandwiches I've seen in a long time.
