Captivating Imagery — Local services in Cranberry Township

We recently hired Kate to take some pictures of our family including our newborn son. This is the second time we hired Kate since she did such a great job with the pictures she provided during the photo shoot with our first born back in 2019. She was very responsive and receptive to any ideas, props, locations or times that we proposed while she was at our house. Both times Kate arrived on time and was able to obtain some awesome pics of the family, including some winter wonderland ones since it was snowing that day. They will be treasured pictures. This is quite a feat when you are dealing with a toddler and a newborn in the same shot. She was able to grab their attention or modify the shot perspective when it was clear a change would need to be made to achieve a good shot of the family.

After the photo shoot we joined Kate via Zoom where she conveyed the options we could pursue to best capture this warm chapter of our lives. In advance of the meeting she assembled a proposed photo album and her selections were basically exactly what we would have proposed although any alterations can be made. Kate provided many options for prints and albums that were affordable for us and we really like her engagement via Zoom after the session to help us decide how best to capture this chapter of our lives with prints and albums that can be shared for decades to come.

I had such an amazing experience with Kate Miller for my engagement photography session and for my wedding day photography! She went above and beyond to capture these important moments. Our first engagement session got rained out and she was so wonderful about rescheduling to make sure we had beautiful photos. Kate took the time to get to know us as a couple and what was most important to us for her to capture. We sat down and made a list of all the important moments and family portraits. The wedding day went by so quickly but now we have a huge album of everything from the wedding party, family, guests, the venue, our decorations and of course bride and groom shots. Less than a week after the wedding, we had just returned from our honeymoon and we already had our pictures back! I was so happy to share them with family and friends. I ordered multiple prints to frame for myself and our parents and grandparents. The prints are excellent quality and I am so glad I ordered them through Kate. She sent them in plenty of time to give them as Christmas gifts. I still get so many complements on our pictures and I tell everyone to use Captivating Imagery to capture their beautiful moments....

Kate has taken photos for both of my daughters' senior pictures. My kids are polar opposites, and Kate managed to get the best out of both of them.

My oldest is a more quiet kind of person, and has always been a challenge to photograph. Kate suggested a great location in Cranberry that suited my oldest perfectly. She caught so many great angles, and candid smiles.

After that, it was easy to choose Kate again this year for my youngest. My youngest is much more... dramatic, lol. As much as I dread downtown Pittsburgh, it was again the perfect location suggestion. My oldest preferred just a few different shots, and only one simple outfit. My youngest was having a blast with two much more flamboyant looks, dancing and posing all over the Strip district. Kate was up for all of it.

With both of my children, the hardest part was picking our favorite pictures out of all of the choices. There were just so many awesome photos.
