MISSION BBQ — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

So my first time ever trying mission. First of all...thanks for all the memorials and tributes throughout the establishment for our fallen soldiers my brothers in arms, and first responders. Congratulations on getting a prime location to operate. Ordering and getting your food is faster than the McDonald's on rt.19...if you know you know lol. The staff is amazing, attentive, and super friendly. Real cozy american feel to the inside. Now for the rating of the food. I will be generous and give it a 4☆. It might go up it might go down when I come back🤷‍♂️ I did buy the refil cup so we will see. If your hungry or want variety, go with the 3 meat platter. And XL combo it for the 2 sides and a drink. The portions are like they say "entree size". I picked of course the BRISKET, and some Turkey, and the classic #41 sausage. The brisket confused me it was good and I chose the moist option. It was moist, but also dry at the same time if that makes sense🤔 but no worries 6 sauce options will fix anything up. The turkey was nice and smoked but really dry. The sausage was nice with the snap of the casing and just a pinch of warmth to the spices after 2 peices. I also got 1bone to try the ribs. That was a winner fall off the bone tender with a unique to them rub and flavor👌Bravo! Sides : Green beans were not very good at all I get the bacon and onion but it still didn't cover the heavy canned taste of them. The Mac n cheese. 5☆ best thing I had and im u huge Mac n cheese critic. The cornbread was proper. And the sauces were all really good. My top 2 sauces were the Tupelo honey heat, and hands down The smokey! I could put that on sand flavored ice cream and finish the bowl. I mean that sauce is sumthin boi! So definitely check this new spot to the neighborhood out when your fixin for some meats and see what you think. See you next visit mission! Keep on...

​I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Mission BBQ in Cranberry Township, PA, on its opening day, and I must say, the experience was magnificent. As a proud veteran who served 27 years in the US Army, I believe my standards and expectations are appropriately high, and I can confidently say that Mission BBQ exceeded them in every single category. ​First, let's talk about the people. The employees at this location were simply the absolute best. Their level of friendliness was historic, something genuinely uncommon in modern dining. It was clear that the staff cares deeply about the customer experience, delivering service that feels genuine and attentive. This high standard of care alone is enough to earn my recommendation. ​The restaurant itself is roomy, immaculate, and powerfully patriotic. From the décor to the atmosphere, it is a must-see destination for all veterans and patriots who appreciate a tribute to our country's heroes. ​Best of all was the food. It was simply magnificent. Everything was served hot (a rare pleasure these days!), delicious, and priced fairly. For too long, I had been accepting substandard service and lukewarm food from other establishments that seem to care little about customer satisfaction. Mission BBQ is a sharp and welcome contrast. The food tastes so fresh and DELICIOUS! I have a Gluten allergy, so I cannot eat just anywhere. When I asked about their Gluten-Free options, I was advised that all of their meats are gluten free. They immediately pointed out that only 1 of their bbq sauces (Texas Twain) was NOT Gluten-Free and stated I was safe with all of the others. As far as sides, they have plenty that are gluten free and are great with pointing out which one's are not. For me, I had the smoked salmon and some of the prime rib. My sides were collard greens and green beans. The person with me had jalapeño cheese sausage, green beans and fresh cut French Fries. Fantastic food and wonderful options for those who have Gluten...
