Maxine's Coffee — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

This shop has both an external and internal beauty. Walking to the shop, nestled in The Streets of Cranberry shopping. I loved the inviting storefront & the cute sidewalk sign. Once inside, I was met by a friendly barista & a clean, streamlined, warm environment. Coffee & tea options were classic, with a selection of specials. 12 oz size is the current option for drinks. I was surprised by that, but not particularly bothered as it's the size I typically like. If I had wanted to have more, I'd buy two! I purchased the Valentine special latte. While it was being prepared, I peeked around the shop. I won't lie, I was motivated to come back when I had more time to stay, possibly do some work, or bring a friend. It felt open, but not empty. Let me start by saying the coffee is absolutely amazing. I have loved everything I’ve tried so far. The inspirational stickers on the coffee make me smile and instantly put me in a good mood no matter what kind of day I was having. The staff. Oh my goodness, the staff. They are always smiling, happy and so incredibly kind. Something that seems far and few between anymore. And lastly, the energy and the vibes you feel when in the shop are so calm and positive. Maxine's has a lovely atmosphere and is situated in a convenient area. It would be a great place to meet a friend or work! I will give one star for atmosphere, and one star for kind service. The employees are always kind and attentive.

Unfortunately, the three different times I have visited and gotten coffee (once a decaf coffee, once a regular coffee, once an Americano), it has been very watered down, to the point where I have thrown each cup away after just a few sips. I am bummed because I want to love this place! But sadly, I won't be coming...
