I want to start off by saying that finding a restaurant that FULLY understands Celiacs/Gluten allergies is hard to come by around here and that I have never eaten at Moe's. I normally feel weird and have to call ahead to places to make sure there is no cross-contamination and come off sounding like a complete pain in the butt. I decided to give this place a chance on a whim because I was in the area for an eye doctor appointment. My husband and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. The young guy working asked what I would like and as soon as I mentioned I had Celiacs, he immediately offered to change his gloves and be the only one to handle my food. THIS IS SO RARE. I normally have to explain in great detail what will happen if I consume gluten and even then, most roll their eyes and think im just being dramatic. This guy restored my faith in humanity and was genuinely nice and helpful to make sure I wouldn't get sick. Such an overlooked gesture to most was the biggest blessing to me. Not only was the food phenomenal, but this is the first place I have ate at since I was diagnosed that did not gluten me. I would 110% reccomend this place to anyone, especially Celiacs that just want a break from cooking all their food from scratch...
Read moreFor Tex-Mex, the food is passable, but not by much. There's always a weird, stale oil taste to their chips and their taco shells are so thin that eating them without making a mess is practically impossible. What compounds the issue is the price as they nickle and dime you for everything (food of this quality shouldn't land in the $10 to $15 mark).
Thankfully, someone in corporate finally got rid of the incredibly dated menu listings updated to sensible descriptions (the old menu consisted of dated pop culture references to NBC 'must see TV' programming. Joey Bag of Donuts for a burrito? Terrible marketing).
Lastly, there is nothing I hate more than being shouted at by dazed employees as I walk through the door. Very intrusive, insincere, and just plain irritating - truly a practice that needs to end and one of my main reasons making this fast food destination a very rare occasion. A poor substitute for Taco Bell (and that's...
Read moreExpected more from Moe‘s, I love the chain, but this one I do not love. The first thing we see when you walk in is they do not accept cards. They only accept cash, so we then went in and waited for so long because they were taking all of these mobile orders, and they just had us standing there waiting. It took forever. And then, whenever we ordered, we asked for double rice, like usual, and they did not give us double rice they gave us barely anything of any of it, but it was fine, and then we then went to to go fill up or drink, and all of their soda is flat and the one machine had no ice, and the other was out of like half of their drinks also, not to forget the entire time these workers were just rude to us and gave attitude. Whenever we said, we would like to have our order together, not separate as they assumed we got attitude. The place was also just very dirty, and there was boxes all over the place, do not...
