Monte Cello's Cranberry — Restaurant in Cranberry Township

I won't be returning. Apparently customer service is a thing of the past. My sister and I walked in and literally just stood at the service podium while the wait staff stood about 5 feet away from us having their own conversations. There were literally 5 girls and several guys standing across from us and not one of them greeted us. They looked at us but never once said a simple hello. I don't care if your going to seat us or not, is it really that hard to make a customer feel welcomed? We were eventually seated when the one woman who was actually working the register (not standing around bullshitting like everyone else) finally finished up and came over to seat us. The menu really wasn't all that impressive. My sister ordered a gyro salad. It was literally a pile of lettuce with a few dried up strips of lamb, a few fries, with a few peppers and dressing. There wasn't enough dressing for the salad but she never got more because our server didn't come back to check on us until we were done eating. I got the stuffed eggplant with a side salad. The salad was tiny, warm and overwhelmed with red onions and soggy lettuce. The eggplant was disgusting. It was breaded but I could barely tell because the tiny two rolls I got were beyond soggy and over cooked. It was essentially two mushy piles of sauce and ricotta cheese. The icing on the cake was the fact the the bowl that it was served in seriously needed a good chemical dip and scrub. The arms of the bowl were literally stained brown. Gross. So sad that the people who work here are full of drama and are very unprofessional. Having drinks and food with friends after work and realized I left my wallet in my car “I car pulled with a co worker” made the waitress aware. As my wallet arrives I shimmy out of the table to go grab it, taking a sip of my friends drink to see if I should have her order me one now that my I.D had arrived, a bartender comes around the bar to yell “do not drink that” I explain my I.D is outside I will be right back to give it to you and order. She then says with an attitude “I will not be serving you” then she confinscated all my co workers drinks from the table then making them all pay for there barely drank drinks. I ask to speak to a manager explain what happened and a women walks around and yells “I’m the manager, I’m the manager” this is now causing a scene people are all staring we ask the staff to calm down cause it’s embarrasing. We ask the manager to comp. the drinks and we will be gone. She says “I’ll ask the bartender” and never returns. The bar tender then comes back to the table and sarcastically asks if we would like more water. And gives the check with all the drinks still attached. We are very disappointed in the childish and unprofessional behavior of this staff. No one here is trained very properly obviously. And to treat any guests like this...

So wayyyyyy overpriced. My daughter begged to go to one forever so we finally got to one service was meh. Not the best and the prices were absolutely ridiculous french fry basket for just french fries $11 i ordered a side of fries they gave me a basket so got charged for basket....yikes they were mediocre especially for $11. They rest of the food everyone got was just ok. Def the worst food we had on our stay to Phoenix. I can see to all the famous rich ppl that go here its cool cuz of the big fancy drinks n milkshakes and stuff meals are all basically $16 minimum i think but most of them over $21. My daughter got ham n cheese sandwich with fries it was $19 insane. Just be prepared to spend over $100 if ur careful for few ppl u could easily spend couple hundred if u order whatever u want. I def knoa.theres better tasting food and restaurants in Phoenix especially in that area theres 20 or 30 restaurants to. Choose from. I def would try n talk ur kid out of the tiktok gimmik def in my honest opinion not anywhere near worth it or worth the prices they charge. Especially when the restaurant was dead we should have had excellent food n service bit def wasnt the case!! Sorry but.the truth ive worked in food service restaurants for 25 yrs n ive always strived to give my best whether busy or slow and def not this restaurants motto. I...
