Smoothie King — Restaurant in Crest Hill

I ordered three Large Angel Food Smoothies and was assisted by an employee named Sadiah Ford. Right off the bat, I was charged for four smoothies instead of three. Each drink had specific modifiers: two with Fiber + Caffeine enhancers and one with Spinach + Gut/Metabolism enhancers.

The extra smoothie was eventually refunded, but the experience quickly went downhill. I was told I was “wrong” about the Gut/Metabolism enhancers, then offered to have energy added to two of the smoothies. After processing the refund, Sadiah suddenly claimed the energy had already been added — which, unless she’s a magician, was simply not true.

When I asked which drink had the spinach, her response was: “The green one obviously.” Considering I didn’t even have the drinks in hand yet, nothing was “obvious” to me.

I spent over $40 ($50 on the original mistake that she refunded) on this order. I understand people not liking their jobs and also having off days and training happens, but when I pay for something specific, I expect to get exactly what I ordered — and without the attitude. Today's visit was great. They were able to prepare what I pre-ordered online. However this location often runs out of ingredients and is unable to prepare what I've ordered through the app. Since I sometimes plan my days meals around what I intend to order and the nutritional needs fulfilled by my smoothie order, this is frustrating. Additionally, if you order online and the location can't fulfill the order, there is no option to cancel the order and be refunded. Yeri/Yari not sure on spelling and I hate I didn't get the correct spelling but she is phenomenal! The 5 star is for her alone. Anytime something is going on with my order she calls and lets me know and tries to make accommodations. She is so sweet and understanding and really goes above and beyond.
