I placed a Togo order on September 27, 2024. Upon arriving at home I noticed my salad was missing. I called the restaurant and spoke to a young lady in the Togo department. After a brief hold she stated she would let the manager know and prepare my salad. She also asked how long would it take for me to arrive. I replied roughly 15 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant and my salad still wasn't ready.
I asked to speak to the manager. A manager named April approached me. I asked why was it taking so long to receive a salad, as between the 15 minute drive and waiting another 15 minutes I still have not received my salad. I also asked if there was anything she could do about the inconvenience? April rudely stated and I quote, "what do you expect from me, you're the one that left without checking the bag". I was shocked by her response as well as the other customers in the restaurant. April then stated, "its either the food or your money not both". At that point, I never asked for a refund, a simple apology would have been nice and my salad ready after arriving, not waiting another 25 minutes.
I waited another 10 minutes for my salad and when I received it I made sure to check it before leaving because how on earth could April mess up a second time??? Well, she did! I went back in, showed her she gave me the WRONG salad and requested a refund. No apology or acknowledgement for giving me the wrong salad. April then stated she had to get my name, email, and phone number before she can submit a refund. All of which sounded extremely dishonest, as many restaurants can simply submit a reverse credit into their POS system. I asked why do you need all of that information? April stated, "I have to contact corporate to issue you a refund, that is how Chili's handles refunds". I then questioned can I not just give you my receipt number and you do a reverse credit. April stated NO but then asked for the receipt number. So you need it now after I mentioned it but it was not needed before?
Reluctantly, I gave April the requested information and asked if I could have a receipt of some kid showing the refund. April stated "like what"? I said a receipt or something so I can have this is writing. April then stated, "I'm not trying to keep your money sweetie". I said I'd like something in writing as I do not trust your word. She then pulls out receipt paper writes, "April Scott mangel Chiis refund email 9-27-2024". Everything spelled in that manner.
Note to the Chili's corporation, April needs some serious training. If I had to guess she works on a salary. Losing a customer hurts not only with revenue but also tips for waitstaff. All of which is no concern for April. As noted before many patrons witnessed April's rude behavior. Though their experience could have been a good one, witnessing such nasty behavior from a manager would make that experience memorable for all the wrong reasons.
Because of how April handled my situation I will NEVER return to Chili's. You can save your AI generated response. I already contacted guest relations and apparently even with the limited characters my statement "I will NEVER come to Chili's again" was misunderstood. You can keep your (eBOG). I want my money back! I never...
Read moreCurbside pick up does not exist. They ignore you the entire time until you come in. And then when you come in even tho the people in the kitchen can see you and you them they’ll ignore you. Someone bussing trays that I was, apologetically, in the way called the hostess for me. And she had no customer service. Only put one star bc the food was good.
It’s very fitting that four months after the owner replies to me that I’ve been back 2x and ignored doing curbside pick up. Last time I was here 3 cars were waiting and each one of us had to go in and get it. Not to mention on that occasion when I came in, the hostess and a delivery driver were getting into it because someone stole the order and the hostess told her she can’t remake the order without a ticket to give to the cooks and it wasn’t her problem because she can’t control who comes in and takes off the rack. Not my situation to handle so I went about my business. Today, I came and sat for 7 minutes in front of the door. I checked in online with with my parking spot. 4 clerks came to the Togo counter and 2 even point or gestured toward my vehicle. One even came outside to go his car, none came to mine. I came in and lo and behold they had my order on the doordash rack. When I commented about how I didn’t order it that way bc I ordered it on the site she just giggled about it. I left it alone bc I’m not trying to stress a pregnant woman, at least she spoke when I came through the door. And the icing is there was an egg roll all over the floor in an area where the tables were clean??? I say all this to say, dining or ordering food in this area is a joke. It must be the same people that own these places bc you can complain about a service and receive pretty words for it and it still not be corrected. I guess as long as people keep spending money here and the owner gets their...
Read morerecent review Nov 2024- Service was good but food was less than lukewarm. Also portion size was horrible. Not enough chipotle chicken, and sausage was not split in half and way too many fries.
Me and my husband used to live in Crestview Florida and went back to visit Labor Day weekend. One of the restaurants we visited was the new Chili’s (new to Crestview but not new to us). As a born Texan I am very familiar with the restaurant. I am always hesitant to visit fairly new restaurants…(although I know this one has now been open quite a long time)…because I know it takes a while to get the kinks out. That being said I want to give a very special shout out to Patrick (Patty) as he was our table of 5 waiter. He was phenomenal. He took our orders, repeated each one back, and every order came out perfect. He checked to ensure our drinks were made to perfection, that all drinks were refilled if needed, and made sure our food was hot and that the wait time for the food was acceptable. He was extremely personable and such a joy to spend time with. Thank you, Patrick, for an amazing evening….it was made even more amazing because we were spending it with our dear friends from Crestview and you made that visit even more special.
The next day I brought more guest with me (table of 6), some local Crestview folks and my friend from Michigan. This time we were waited on by Ms. Lynn and she was quite pleasant and took time to learn our names. She also had very good waitress skills.
*My favorite meal was the Smokehouse Combo. For some reason the meal before is hardcoded and I cannot change it..I did not have the honey chipotle tenders with mac...
