This used to be my favorite Starbucks location and I was there almost every day . now I go out of my way to avoid it :( I used to always have a great experience, thanks to the genuinely kind and professional employees who made my day every time. Unfortunately, it seems like there’s been a staffing change, and the quality of service has really gone downhill. On a recent visit, I was scolded in the drive-through by a barista (possibly the manager?) for placing a mobile order five minutes before pickup, which is something I’ve done countless times without issue. As soon as I drove up to the speaker and gave her my name she told me that I “ need to give them more time next time “ .. Her tone was condescending , to the point that the folks in the car remarked that she was speaking to me like she was my teacher . And while I understand it must be stressful when things are backed up , it genuinely appeared to be very slow , especially for a weekend . There was only one car in front of me in line and two cars parked out front .
At the end of the day I still got my drink in a very timely manner but it left a really bad impression. I went back one more time, and while the barista that day wasn’t outright rude, they seemed clearly annoyed, which made for another uncomfortable experience. It’s just not what I expect from Starbucks where customer service is usually great .
To make matters worse, the store was recently remodeled, and the new layout is extremely unwelcoming. While this obviously isn’t the fault of the employees by any means, I feel like it’s relevant to mention in this review for anyone who is looking for somewhere nice to get some work done Z . They removed all the comfortable seating and replaced it with just a few small, hard chairs and tables. On top of that, the music is often very loud and makes it hard to focus . If you’re looking for somewhere to get some work done, I would recommend the location across from Sunset Hills Plaza, the Tesson ferry location, or the new Ronnie’s Plaza ones All in all, this location has gone from being my go-to to one I actively avoid.

Read moreSince they renovated and downsized this Starbucks, the service has really suffered and the wait time has doubled. All I wanted was a bag of coffee and an iced coffee, and I was the only person inside waiting, all other orders were drive through which always get top priority. I stood at the order register for 5 minutes before they even took my order, staff was unfriendly, slow, only one barista for inside (me alone) and drive through, yet there were at least 4 other employees milling around. Wish I’d known how long it would take before I added a tip! Ordered an iced grande coffee at 12:26 pm, walked out with it finally at 12:38, with no thanks, sorry for your wait, have a good day, no response whatsoever from the barista. I’ll just have to go to other less convenient stores out of my way from now on, good service is more...
Read moreI am in this store several times a week. I always order the same thing, nothing fancy. They usually have to do a pour over but that's it. Recently I've noticed that they will make it and forget it. Tonight I sat for 30 minutes and finally had to ask about it. It had been made long ago and forgotten. When I got it, it was almost cold. I will keep coming in because it's convenient, but I will either stop ordering or make sure they don't forget me. It's disappointing that it has happened so many times. They know my order after seeing me to much, but they can't seem to remember to call it when it's ready. Tonight it was at the other end of the store, not where they place all other orders when they call them. I watched the barista walk down and see it sitting there, then...
