If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible experience with a rude server named Erica. The second we sat down she had an attitude with us. Cut us off over 5 times. She didn’t write anything down when we ordered. Then went downstairs for 15 minutes while our food sat. We asked another waitress if they could bring us our food she did but the order was wrong. I ordered a steakburger and my friend ordered a patty melt. We received two patty melts and I can’t eat the sauce on it. The waitress came back and we asked for silverware and I asked about the sauce on the steakburger. She said it was the wrong thing huffed and puffed back to the kitchen and left someone else’s food sitting at out table. She came back said they were fixing it and I asked if we could have silverware again and she completely blew up and started screaming at me saying she was busy and we were rude. We were in shock. She grabbed the silverware and threw it on our table. We talked to another waitress because now all I had was a salad. I told her at this point I didn’t even want to eat the food or pay any money here. She apologized and told us our food would be comped. A couple minutes later our rude waitress stomped over to us and threw the receipt on the table saying we owed 25 dollars. Horrible service. No management present for us to speak to. I understand being busy but what happened was uncalled for and ridiculous. Completely ruined our lunch I was so upset I couldn’t eat. Not once did she apologize just stomps past us and glares. We won’t come back. We won’t recommend this place to anyone. The nice server Christina we talked told us Erica got into it with the people downstairs and was taking it out on us. Still doesn’t excuse it. What a way to ruin...
Read moreMy husband and I came here for lunch recently. The waitress was busy, so I expected service to be slow -- which it was. Totally fine since we were in no rush. What was not okay, however, was the level of service we received, which I'd describe as cold at best. While we observed other patrons receive friendly smiles and 'how are y'all doing, what can I get for you?' We had to flag her down to get drinks. Then we had to flag her down again to order -- all while other guests, many who arrived after us, were promptly able to place their order. Each time she came to our table, it was like she couldn't move on fast enough. Our drinks sat empty once we finished them, while other guests were asked if they wanted refills. My husband ordered another drink, which never came. Finally, we became tired of being ignored while everyone else was being attended to, so my husband went up to the bar to ask for our check. It was abundantly clear that people that looked like us were not welcome here.
So this review isn't for the owner's benefit -- they clearly don't want business from certain clientele, so they won't care about what I think. It's simply to serve as a warning to other potential guests who may look like me to stay away from this place. Unless you fit a certain demographic, they don't want your business.
Another black couple came in shortly after us, were seated and handed menus, and were ignored, much like we were. They eventually got up and left without ordering. Wish we would have done the same.

Read moreStarving we searched for a late night bite not expecting many options as Covid has essentially shut most all over night places down, limiting operators hrs as if the pandemic is more contagious after dark. The Hive advertised they where open until one am and as we hate to show up close to close we opted to see if there was any buzz behind this pub hoy spot. A very young, fresh energetic crowd of polite party goers all where very welcoming making it difficult to decipher guest from employee as everyone sounded excited to see us. Great atmosphere and from the looks of it, strong drinks are found here. Not much into alcohol we simply ordered two Pepsi's & learned the the kitchen closes earlier but we're assured we had time to order without burden. Chosing fast we selected the twice baked potatoes which contained six really good pieces that we each ate three of. We found the one large pack of sour cream was plenty for this app that we devoured pretty quick. However quick it seemed weed ate those was the perfect amount of resting the entree of supreme pizza minus sauSage add pepperoni needed to be a good temp for tasting. Not normally a fan of provolone, I was either too hungry to care or the rest was just good enough to help mask the overly bold bit back from the yucky provolone. I bet with mozzarella it would have been devine, but over all it wasnt the worst pie I've tried. It is the only provolone pizza I've ever managed eat a whole slice of. Prices where fair, relaxed welcomed atmosphere, prompt polite and not overbearing perfect service and satisfying food make this an option I...
