DISSH — Local services in Culver City

I had a really great experience visiting this store. The sales associates are very kind and helpful! Super happy to see Dissh in the US and hope they can make this a permanent thing. That being said, the reason why I am giving three stars is because my friend had a pretty terrible experience with the store manager. I have never heard such a story in my life (and I have worked in retail before, for many years). Aside from this incident, I have also heard the manager being very mean to her staff. Coming from someone who has worked retail before, I think it is unacceptable to create a hostile working environment for your co-workers. I truly love Dissh and hope that they can open a store without this manager so I won't have to feel tense if I ever revisit. Thanks!!

Updated edit: Ooof how embarrassing for Dissh! Looks like the manager might be doing some damage control with the latest flood of glowing reviews. From a shopper’s perspective, it honestly feels more suspicious than reassuring. Also, not totally sure why 2 males (please reference the more recent comments) are so emotionally invested in a women’s clothing store 😂 Wishing the best for the team at Dissh—and seriously, hope your employees are getting the support...

I work for DISSH and I’m writing this review for two very specific reasons. First of all, I’d like to say that DISSH is absolutely amazing. I love the styles, the fabrics and the timeless design aesthetic and attention to detail in every aspect of their in-store experience. The second thing I’d like to say is that I am completely honored to work with an amazing group of supportive, creative, kind- hearted and experienced women who genuinely care for each other and the customers who visit the store. I’d especially like to point out that the manager is an absolute joy to work with. I respect her and her ability to maintain a smoothly functioning team. Beyond her obvious capabilities, she treats us with friendship and trust, absent of ego and that respect is most certainly mutual. I am completely confident that any member of our team would echo these sentiments contrary to the review left by another individual. Not once have I heard any berating or insulting language used by the manager on any member of our team, the review was most definitely left in bad faith as an intentionally misleading and inflammatory...
