Chargha House — Restaurant in Culver City

Look, I would love to leave this place a better review, the food is good and flavorful and hits with the spice. I am however a dad who has to work with a somewhat hectic schedule from time to time and trying to have hope that the place would honor the pick up times that they have either told me via phone when I ordered direct or through the estimates given to me via Uber’s order system, I have to sadly say they are quite poor in their ability to honor their agreements. I got the idea of Slow-Food, when you however tell me my order will be done in 35-50 mins and it takes 65-70 mins WITHOUT AN UPDATE to inform you or when UberEats tells you “Your Order is Ready for Pickup and when you get there they say “Oh, it’ll only be 20 more minutes” without one sense of “Our Bad man” coming off their words was rather frustrating. To make it worst, they only started to pay attention once they realized I wasn’t a delivery driver, but had actually brought myself in for pickup. ...

If you’re looking for a good authentic experience, this restaurant is beautiful. I can’t believe how good the food is. Oh my God everything I tried was delicious. I can’t pronounce most of the names of the food.

I went with people that just arrived from Pakistan. They were so wonderful, but they absolutely spoiled me. The beef and the chicken dishes were wonderful. The bread was delicious. The vegetables were sliced. You could hear the crisp crunches of bites of everything delicious here.

I will put up some pictures but I can’t advise you enough. You must come here and they are priced extremely reasonable almost everything is under $20 and the service is personal there aren’t too many businesses like this, but when people come over from other countries and they welcome us to different types of cultures you can’t Miss the opportunity.

I’ve come to this restaurant several times and the owner of the establishment is very nice. I came to pick up my order tonight and the guy working the register had a bad disposition. When I came to the register, he was standoffish. I told him about my call in order. He retrieved it. I paid him the cash and he throws my change on the counter for me to pick up. I mentioned to him that he should hand money back the way it was given. It’s rude to throw the money on the counter. I took the money and my food and walked to my car which was parked right in front of the restaurant. I’m watching how he treats the next customers to see if he’s maybe just having a bad night or maybe he doesn’t know what good customer service is. And I didn’t see him throwing their money.
