I guess that I am living in the real world anymore. My question is if you haven't eaten anything more than manure, would you know the difference between good Mexican food or some made-up crap. I don't think so! I have a theory that an $2 dollars gets you a cheap cup of coffee in a gas station. If you were a helper in a taco place in Mexico, you convinced yourself that you knew what to do. Then you came across the USA and started serving crap to people who didn't know any better. Crap is crap and this is not real Mexican food. I have eaten in Guadalajara. DF. And Tijuana. And this is not it. And it is way overpriced. I take lilis tacos in Santa Barbara or Sergio's tacos(the truck)in the East LA. Tamix are overpriced and can't in good conscious be called Mexican food. The food was bland and didn't have any rediming qualities. Even the salsa wasn't good. How can you mes s up that. Even King Taco has the...

Last night we wanted to celebrate after our first live gig since COVID-19 so I was craving one of our city’s infamous taco trucks. We decided to hit Venice Blvd. and went to the first one we saw. I had low expectations since I don’t eat any meat and when I looked at the menu, there was nothing. We asked what they could do and they said they could make anything vegetarian. I decided to order a quesadilla and a taco. It took no time for our order to be ready and it was piping hot even by the time we arrived home. I must say, that was the ABSOLUTE best quesadilla I’ve ever had in my life! Same with the taco! Not only was it packed with flavor but they are not skimpy with their ingredients or portions! It shows that they really can accommodate vegetarians as well. Amazing! We’re going back after next week’s show as well. Great way to end the...

No, I normally do not leave reviews but this place really just annoyed me right now. I’m trying to eat healthy and I asked for a burrito bowl no tortilla and I said no rice as clear as day. I also said I wanted pasta and not Carne Asada as you see, I got Carne Asada And I got a ton of rice. I went back to show them and she told me that it was a little bit of rice and that she wrote down Asada, even though eyes clear as they told her no rice more than once, and I said I would like pastor and then have the nerve to look at me and tell me that it was $14 when I placed the order. This place is whack I did not recommend this place she didn’t even offer to give me a new plate. They have lost a...

Oh my. The skies separated and these Al Pastor tacos fell from heaven. Beautiful achiote flavor, thinly sliced piña, fresh tortillas, the absolute best al pastor I've had in LA. The people are what makes all the difference. Some of the best people work here. They were very courteous and generous with portions and important sidekicks like lime. Dear taquerias of LA: Lime goes on tacos, not lemon. Give lime. It makes people happy and it makes a difference. Do not follow Google maps, this truck often parks @Sepulveda and @Venice off the 405. They have nice low -key seating. This place is a must visit for LA al pastor enthusiasts. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Extremely overpriced food. They charge $12-14 for a standard burrito. At those prices, chipotle is cheaper for a bigger burrito or spend a few bucks more and you can have a meal at a real restaurant. They also charge 15% for using your credit card. This is when I knew they were price gouging and taking advantage of customers. There are several other food trucks literally down the street on Venice that are 30+% cheaper. Transparently this is extremely overpriced and I would recommend to the owners to lower their prices as they are charging restaurant prices for standard food truck food.
