-Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao 6 pieces
their xiao long bao (XLB) is sooo juicy and yummy for me their skin is a little bit thicker than the ones ive gotten else where but its still super good and def worth checking out! definitely a staple and comfort food during this colder weather szn
-Chicken Pot Stickers 6 pieces
i love how they make their pot stickers with the extra crunch on the outside it definitely makes it more fun and the inside is still so juicy and tender making it the perfect combination in every bite
-Spicy Beef Sandwich 1 piece
not my favorite item on the menu - i think the presentation was there but the flavor just didnt hit the spot the way i had expected it to based on the presentation. the flavors werent as strong and it tasted kinda bland. i feel like maybe with sauce it would taste better
-Beef Stew Noodle Soup ($8.95)
definitely not something id reorder. idk if it was just my particular order or what had happened that day but my soup was super bland. i feel like usually with beef stew esp the flavors are more strong. but in this case it just tasted like water. the most flavors found in this noodle soup was just the meat. so that was pretty disappointing
-Dan Dan Noodle ($6.25)
the dan dan noodles were really good. the flavors lowkey reminded me of migoreng but a little bit more savory and spicier. it had 麻辣 (ma la) numb to each bite which i really enjoyed and this is definitely something id order again!!
-Sweet and Sour Cucumber ($5.25)
this dish was so refreshing and a good option to share as an appetizer. the flavors of sweet and sour - i feel like were really balanced. it wasnt super sweet or tangy but just right! plus the intricate design and details were fun to cut through and eat
-Q Bao Pan Fried Pork Buns - 4 pieces
omg so so so juicy too!! definitely something that id order again and really enjoyed eating - bc i personally love the bao part of the bun but along with the flavors of pork also made it a hearty addition to...

It's busy, but staff is amazingly efficient, bussing and resetting tables in seconds.
It's loud. Acoustics are awful. The minimalist decor causes a lot of echoing, and everybody from child to adult apparently thinks it's great fun to kick their heels into the benches they're sitting on, causing an echoey boom boom boom throughout the meal. At least they don't blast music too on top of everything else, it was hard enough to have a conversation or ask staff anything as it was.
I didn't like the open-faced beef bao ("burger"). The beef was dry and I didn't like the flavor. They put a western style pickle in it which permeated the whole thing and made it pickle flavored which did not go with five spice imho. And the bao was too sweet. Would not get again.
The green onion pancake was flakier yet less layered than I like. Probably would not get again.
The beef noodle soup was ok, the noodles were perfectly chewy and the beef was mostly moist but the broth was a tad sweet and there was entirely too much cilantro, overpowering the small bowl. Might get again.
The pork xlb, the star of the meal, were some of the better ones I've had in CA, but don't hold a candle to my favorites in NY and HK. Still, I would get them again.
The pork and crab ones are pointless; I was concerned when they were the same price as the pork, and it turns out I was right to be concerned. I didn't see any pieces of crab, it just kind of tasted slightly fishy. I'm not even sure if it was crab flavored or "krab" (surimi) flavored. Would not get again.
Though I'm open to trying the frozen ones to take and steam at home, honestly I'd rather go to Four Sisters Special Noodle and get xlb while getting to look at...

This place replaced Boiling Point and it’s next to Tan-Cha. My must-try dishes are Pork wonton w/ chili sauce, pig ears, dandan noodle, and pan fried ground beef cake.
Pork wonton w/ chili sauce: this was good for the bay area standard in terms of taste. However, wonton size is super small. You might want to order 2-3 of this if you have more than 3 people in your party.
Marinated pig ears: MUST GET. It’s the best dish among all the dishes we tried.
Dan dan noodle: I really liked it! Noodle was on the chewier side, which I like. Sauce was peanut-y and creamy. The only thing that threw me off at first was the fact that I didn’t see any traces of meat.
Pan fried ground beef cake: SOOO GOOD. Was crispy on the outside and juicy, meaty on the inside. Be careful of the hot meat juice! Poke them first with your chopsticks before you bite them.
QBAO: Crispy on the bottom! I thought it was not bad, but this dish was not as memorable as the pan fried ground beef^. I’d get the pan fried ground beef over this 10/10 times.
XLB: it was good! Might be pretty par with Din Tai Fung in my opinion in terms of the outer dough. But I’d recommend not getting the crab+pork one. We got this flavor, but couldn’t taste the crab flavor in it.
Beef pancake: it was on the salty side. I would not recommend getting this, but if you do want to try, know that for the price, you get 2 - 5inch long pancakes.
Beef stew noodle: I would give a hard NO for this dish. Broth was like water and all toppings were just sad. If you are craving some noodles and carbs, get either Dandan noodle^ or other dry noodle dish.
Portions are a lot smaller than the pictures in Yelp. So expect to order 4-5 dishes...
