This happens to be an easy review and one that is pleasure to write. It combines the two things that I have high expectations...the quality of the food and the genuine desire to provide the best service. I started coming to Cupertino Panera on a regular basis with my best friend and brother-in-law about 3 months or so. We would stop by Panera after leaving the YMCA around the corner. There have been a couple times where they would be low on jalapeño bagels, they would somehow manage to find a couple for us. We had the manager, Richard Reyes, come an personally talk with us about our experience and asked how they could make it better. This, I might add, was without prompting. We made some light comments in passing, not really taking it too seriously, because for most places don’t take feedback too seriously. Richard took our comments seriously and had more jalapeño bagels on stock regulary. This may seem trivial to some people, but for me...with expectations of great service, was a huge deal. The manager always makes it a point to come out and interact with the customers and listening to their thought. OUTSTANDING!! Here is another point I wanted to make, the quality of what they serve. The bagels are right up there with the best of the competition. They take the service serious enough to make the eggs, on a pan, not microwaved. Over easy, with the perfect amount of seasoning. So my point is this, Panera stands above and beyond in the quality or the service and, just as importantly, the quality of the food. I know some people have reasons or not for liking Panera. All I can point to is the consistency of my great experiences at this Panera. They are genuine in their desire for quality in service and food. I hope this was a helpful...
Read moreThe food is typical Panera Bread food, so it's decent. No complaints there.
The pick up experience here has been pretty consistently slow for me and seems to be entirely due to operational inefficiency. It seems like often orders get bagged and then sit behind the counter waiting for someone to put tape on them for up to ten minutes before the bags are distributed. While these bags are waiting the staff will mark the orders as ready so it's pretty confusing as a customer to walk in expecting to find your order, only it's not there, and if you ask about it, the people behind the counter look at you like you're the weirdo for asking about an order. Even though they know they have bags just sitting there waiting to go out, that they have marked ready, that aren't ready, so why am I being looked at like I'm weird for asking where my order is?
I wouldn't mind if they just didn't mark the order as ready for pick up until it's actually ready for pick up. The staff are gaming their own stats by marking these orders ready early when they are not ready. If I were Panera Corporate I'd be disappointed to learn this store is not operating nearly as efficiently as their numbers would have them believe. It's because they're faking the numbers by marking orders ready when they're...
Read moreVery bad service at the register definitely need a lawsuit the employee at the register and the supervisor/manager were unwilling to help a person with a disability and started questioning the ability to do things without assistance. Very disappointed. I hope they manage to reflect on this incident the time will come for both of them when unable to survive on their own terms with out assistance they can recall what happened today at Panera bread and repent for their mistake when maliciously gave a nasty attitude towards a customer with disability. You know who you are i don’t even have to post your names. Just know that if you are not there for service stay home stop making excuses for being rude and inconsiderate to people in need of assistance when ordering food. I only wish you what you both gave your nasty behavior could seriously affect others making the entire experience toxicmay God punish your bad behavior by experiencing same pain as the disabled people you mistreat may you both suffer till you learn to be compassionate, responsible, kind, and respectful to others in general not only at Panera bread overall in all of you...
