Wow Tea Drink — Restaurant in Cupertino

Solid new boba spot with their own unique menu of drinks. We tried the memorial oolong frappe, mango and strawberry cloud, and the orange jasmine. The oolong frappe had a very strong tea flavour and it was topped off with creme and pecans, which gave it a very silky and nutty flavour that paired surprisingly well with that strong depth of the oolong tea. The mango and strawberry cloud tasted okay, definitely tasted real fruit bits, but nothing out of the ordinary, overall well blended fruit drinks. And the last was the orange jasmine, it was definitely simple, but definitely refreshing, nothing complicated, one of those classic fruit teas you just can’t ever go wrong with. The tea quality was excellent. Unlike most milk tea places, you have an option of several different kinds of tea and, clearly, it caters to people who know their tea. Upon coming in, there is a big sign saying no photos or videos of the workers or anything they do behind the counter, so that was kind of exciting and undercover... I guess their tea-making is top secret! I probably should have watched more closely... So again, it helps to know your oolongs and jasmines and Earl Grays before coming in since, as noted, you'll have to choose. Honestly, the tea was a little strong for my taste but I definitely see how a tea aficionado would love this place.

Wow! Initially discouraged by the interior of the place… (could really use some artwork in there or something) and also the fact it’s one of now 4 and possibly soon to be 5 bubble tea locations in this plaza.

Decided to give it a try as I’ve seen another Wow location packed to the brim.

Got the “Best Jasmine tea” and it was full of jasmine flavor, and most importantly not bitter at all

The workers seem trained really well when it comes to making the drinks. I watched them make drinks while waiting and saw a worker spend a few minutes just whisking matcha! Really taking no shortcuts for anyone that has ever made their own matcha. I was really impressed. Determined to try a matcha drink here...
