Absolutely Disgusted with Today’s Experience – Will NEVER Return
I am beyond upset with the experience I had today at Chipotle. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but after what happened today, I will never step foot in this location again. From the moment I walked in, the energy was completely off. The employee working the line looked like she couldn’t care less about being there. No greeting, no smile, not even basic courtesy. It honestly felt like I was inconveniencing her just by showing up and ordering food.
As I began to place my order, it became immediately clear that she was irritated and had zero interest in doing her job. Her attitude was cold and dismissive. She barely scooped any food onto my bowl—literally half a spoonful of rice and meat. I asked politely if she could add just a little more, and without hesitation or any explanation, she snapped back that I’d have to pay extra.
Let me be clear: I wasn’t asking for double portions. I was asking to be served a normal, reasonable amount of food—not scraps. I’ve ordered Chipotle enough times to know what a standard portion looks like, and this was not it. The way she spoke to me was rude and completely unprofessional. I looked to the manager hoping to find someone who could fix the situation, and to my disappointment, the manager was just as bad. Nonchalant, completely checked out, and acted like my concerns meant nothing.
This wasn’t a busy time of day. There was no rush, no reason to be cutting corners or treating customers like they’re a burden. The lack of professionalism and blatant disrespect from both the staff and the manager is absolutely unacceptable.
Chipotle is not a cheap meal, and when I choose to spend my money there, I expect at least a bare minimum level of service and respect. What I got today was the exact opposite. It honestly felt like I was begging for food and being talked down to for simply expecting to be treated like a paying customer.
I left angry, disappointed, and still hungry. This isn’t the kind of experience anyone should have to deal with, and I’m not going to support a business that allows its staff to treat people this way. There are too many other places to eat where customer service still matters.
Do better, Chipotle—because this was absolutely...
Read moreFormer employee at this place. I worked the closing shift of this establishment regularly for a bit over 2 months. That said, I have a thorough comprehension of the culture/atmosphere of this particular location.
Pros: -Food is pretty good, no complaints as everything is indeed made/cooked on site. -Large variety of options you can choose. Pretty good if you ask me.
Slight Cons: -Wait time can vary from none whatsoever to ~15 min depending on the length of the line or the size of orders some people make. -The Online Ordering section of this store is fast paced; so many orders come in at certain times that more times than not orders can be delayed before pickup time.
Cons: -As mentioned before, online ordering is fast paced; meaning that orders are likely rushed and not as fulfilling as the food ordered in store. -QUESADILLAS ARE ONLINE ONLY HERE. I honestly couldn't tell you why, but management doubled down on that rule in this location. -Management is subpar. Favoritism is blatantly obvious, and do not enforce policies that the company made for them. I cannot speak for the morning shift managers, but night shift managers have snarky attitude and toxic behavior. One manager in particular, her name reminiscent of a common yellow flower, is the worst manager I have ever worked for. Though all the managers including the GM talk shade about fellow employees, this one in particular will openly use her phone and chat with employees while I was alone on the line working nonstop with both customers and online orders. She also had the audacity to call me out in front of all the employees present for not doing something I was never taught to do/say. Not to mention that I was taught wrong by this person before during employment, but I digress.
If Chipotle is reading this, please do an thorough examination on the managers of this establishment. The one mentioned before had no respect for me as an individual, much less...
Read moreI'm doing an update on conduct!! That's the problem with purchasing food here! There always be that one person that will have that podent sour energy like Pablo, like yo your young and everything but don't act like you don't know what I want when I'm saying what I want not even pointing at it, either he doesn't speak English or what not, he completely forgot to put beef on my tray also after I told him I would like a brown rice steak bowl, and said it 2 times kid because the first time he didn't hear me, he said what you want white rice, I mean honestly what is it, playing the death game with the customers or you just dont want to work and also get paid? Seriously, I'm eating only veggies right now with no beef, after I thought I told him what I wanted. And I said it 2 times, This food is just sitting next to me now ready to get slung. I came to buy food not to see you okay & play games with telling you what I want. I'm done coming hear.. one to many times this has happened, the supervisor isn't hiring joyful people, more like grudge holding people that's just tired of seeing customers. Thank you for letting me drive 5 miles away from home to come to this restaurant only to bring it back home to sling it in the garbage and think about how I got rip off because the guy isnt paying attention to his job. 5+5 makes 10 miles and gas isn't playing right now, maybe they should start thinking gas wise instead of customer service...
