The last three times I was here I was harassed and mistreated, I barely even go here anymore but now I am done. The 3rd to the last time the security guard tried to kick me out of the store because I had a bags full of clean laundry in my personal shopping cart. I asked her how I was supposed to steal with full bags? The second to the last time the SAME security guard call the cops on my because I had a Publix shopping bag, and tried to walk upnto me and ask me questions. Meanwhile women with purses are walking right by me and she doesn't ask them anything.
Third time was my last time, I was in the store and notice the meat I bought from the hot food was undercooked, the cashier asked the manager, Yoly, if I could use the mirceowave. He came back and said Yoly said no. I said, "okay" I went to the restroom. Yoly comes in there harassing me because she sees in my personal shopping cart there was a wine bottle that was half empty, she assumed that I dranked it on property. She starts yelling about calling the police. I told her about the raw meat and she told me that she has nothing to do with that, then she told me nothing was wrong with it.
I walked out of the restroom with her and she then proceeded to insult me and use racism while doing it. She also accused me of stealing 4 times even though she saw me st the cashier earlier, I told her that I will show my receipt and she didnt want to see it. As I was on the outside of the store Yoly called the police on me and said I was hitting her. 😒 I wasn't hitting her, she was trying to trump up things to cover her butt.
Customer service is not customer service anymore, at Winn-Dixie its a whole bunch of people who decided behave as bigots than helping the customer....
Read moreHi, this review is because of the female manager and the white older security guard who is heavyset and has a beard I believe with gray hair. He is a terrible person. I got permission from like two managers there as long as I was not bothering the customers, and there was no complaints that I could do a petition there. All of a sudden this security guard shows up at night after me being there numerous days and convinces this particular manager that I should leave so I’m just writing this to let everyone know to handle him with caution because he has a miserable soul. I’m advocating for women’s rights in the state of Florida and he’s really petty. Nobody else had a problem. I should have never talked to him and had a normal conversation asking him if he was a voter. I didn’t know he would turn around and go get me kicked off the property. The manager was nice about it. She’s the only female manager but I asked numerous times already and I think I even asked her and she signed it herself, but that was months ago and maybe she forgot. I just want to let everyone know he is a shady character. I hope one day there is a law passed that businesses cannot make people leave who are petitioning for political issues as long as they are not being aggressive, or harming or harassing people. It should be a legal right to help make the necessary changes happen. The other security guard was very cool but this one is fake cowardly and petty. Anybody that is against someone advocating for women’s rights is a terrible person and...
Read moreThe management and supporting staff of this little store have been amazing since the temporary shutdown of another nearby neighborhood grocery store. There are always plenty of employees in every department to happily assist you and a monumental effort is made to keep all the shelves well stocked. Then there is the produce department....it is a true pleasure to shop in a store that obviously cares both about the variety and quality of the fruits and vegetables. The produce manager and supporting staff are to be congratulated. Then, I am saving my other favorite departments for last....the deli and bakery. The ladies in these departments are so kind and helpful while efficiently handling your requests in record time. The bakery is always well stocked with both the delicious standard local desserts and then they always include a couple of new unique treats! Simply wonderful. Finally, we all know grocery shopping can be expensive and rapidly decimate our budgets and bank accounts which used to leave me with a sick feeling when I finished shopping in other stores, but I have Great News....this Winn-Dixie has miraculously managed to keep their prices so reasonable that I no longer dread the checkout line. I promise you that you will have the best shopping experience possible...
