I don’t even know where to start ! I have been ordering pizza from here for years. Today I placed an order through the app and I have noticed that they were taking a little bit longer than the usual, so I decided to call them and follow up on my order. They answered the phone and right away he told me they were not delivering at the moment and they were only doing carry out at the moment. I then stated I had no issue with picking it up and asked if I would be able to get refunded for delivery, it would only take 3-5 business days depending on my bank. As I approached papa johns, I received a phone call stating that they turned their head for a split second and the driver had already took the pizza and delivered it. I got upset and explained, I am already outside and am here to pick up the pizza. The gentleman tells me, I’m sorry, I do apologize; however, The driver already took your pizza, I told him, can the manager do anything as far as providing me with a discount because of the situation that just happened, he placed me on hold to speak with manager JOSE. I walked into the store and was explaining that I was on the phone with someone who was speaking to the manager about my order, they all looked at me like I was stupid, stayed quiet and looked at each other. Manager Jose walks up to me and starts with a very nasty attitude, your order has already left for delivery. I told the manager it is upsetting that I was told to come pick it up because they’re only doing carry out at the time. He started getting aggressive and I tried to explain to him that I deserve a discount because what happened to me, he starts walking away and talking over me and not allowing me to speak and says you don’t deserve anything, I dont know who you think you are but we are not going to give you a refund, if you want I can call the driver have him cancel your order and bring back your pizza. I stated that is not fair, I drove all the way here to wait all over again for my pizza. He started hollering and screaming and walking away, did not allow me to speak, I asked multiple times how come you won’t allow me to speak, he refused and continued to walk away and hollering at me. You’re not deserving of my time. Finally, I requested to get my receipt from the young lady and he starts coming towards me and jumping at me trying to literally ATTACK ME, he almost hit me and got in my face and ear screaming GET OUT OF MY STOREEEEE, multiple times. I claimed I am in need of my receipt, the young lady tried to help me and he kept pushing her out of the way(what a way to treat your employees). He continued to attack me and open the door and scream to get out of his store. He picked up the phone and started contacting the cops for idk what reason. I was finally able to get my receipt, thank you to the young lady in the front. I later called to follow up on the delivery status and someone answered and explained the situation about everything and how he attempted to attack me and the gentleman told me, yes, I do agree, he was really bad. I asked to them cancel my order and they told me, fine your order is cancelled and they hung up the phone. It is very unfortunate what this location has turned into. I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience at Poppa John's that left a sour taste in my mouth. My order for the new garlic stuffed crust pizza, placed for pick-up, was mishandled by none other than the store manager himself. From the moment I received my order, it was clear that this visit to Poppa John's would be far from satisfactory.
Upon receiving the pizza, I quickly realized that it was not what I had ordered. Instead of the garlic stuffed crust I was eagerly anticipating, I received a regular crust pizza. Understandably frustrated, I called up the store manager to explain the situation. Unfortunately, what followed was a shocking display of rude and disrespectful behavior on his part.
The manager not only argued with me but also used offensive language. His dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were astonishing. Instead of offering a solution or rectifying the mistake, he outright refused to replace the incorrect pizza. It was disheartening to witness such a complete disregard for customer satisfaction and basic decency.
What made matters worse is that this was not my first encounter with this manager's unpleasant demeanor. It appears that his rude behavior is consistent, making it abundantly clear that nobody should subject themselves to such mistreatment by spending their hard-earned money at this establishment.
Customer service is a vital aspect of any business, especially those in the food industry. This experience at Poppa John's was a stark reminder of how a single individual's disposition can taint the reputation of an entire establishment. A rude and disrespectful manager not only reflects poorly on the company but also creates an unwelcoming atmosphere for customers.
While I cannot comment on the quality of the food itself, as I never received the correct order, I can say with certainty that the service and treatment I encountered were abysmal. I strongly advise against patronizing this particular Poppa John's location if you value being treated with respect and courtesy.

I have been coming to this Papa John's for over a year. I've never had an issue before, but the second I did, it became an even worse experience. My order was incorrect, I called the store to have it resolved. I told them I received the wrong order and the Asst. Manager told me to come back, and they would have it fresh. 5 minutes later, I received another call from the Asst. Manager Henry/Osvee. He said that I NEEDED to bring back the other order to get my new one and was rude about it, no discount, no refund, not even a sorry. You guys mess up and make me not only drive back but deliver the old food to you? That's not how we treat people. I was willing to drive back to pick up the new order without a complaint, but the second call was unneeded, especially with how frequent I am.
This made the issue unsettling for me. I am a repeated and frequent customer, as just stated, which he also had in his records after asking for my phone number. I have always been extremely polite and always leave a cash tip. The general manager and the two females already know my name without asking for it when I arrive.
Today, I arrived at the store only to have an extremely unpleasant argument. The above Asst. Manager shouting back and forth and being completely disrespectful. He did not apologize, did not look for a resolution, and was just completely argumentative.
Above all, the incorrect order was replaced back on the shelf with the rest of the new orders to be resold, which also means that he is mishandling food and can contaminate and sicken people. He's disregarding regulations and policies and may eventually sicken someone to death if he does not drive them to it first.
Unfortunately, one bad experience ruins all the great experiences. After reading some of the reviews, it seems I am not the only person to have had some sort of conflict with this person. He may be a good employee, but he should stay away from management and customer service oriented positions.
