Always Greay food and 95% of the time goof service. We go here every 2 years with mx father for me sister and I to celebrate our birthdays. We went this past Thursday and it would appear our server was having a bad day because all 3 of us thought she was a little bit short and sassy. After much observation, I realized she was just frustrated because she was in the weeds.. She was cashing out a 10 top, who obviously needed 10 separate bills. Simultaneously we were getting our appetizers, and she was being double or triple sat with 2 and 3 tops. Being in the Bar & Restaurant business for over a decade myself, I told my dad and my sister just to give her a chance to get out of the weeds and then watch and see how her attitude changes. Sure enough, with the 10 top gone and the rest of her tables content because they'd been served their salads or entre's and she could take a deep breath. From that point on it was smiles and laughs. I ordered my steak Medium Rare like always and it came out still bloody and barely Luke warm. Even after sending it back to be cooked longer( from grill to plate, to table, back to grill and back to table-lots of temperature changes), I was still one or the best bone-in Ribeye's I've ever had!! I took over half home and I promise you, reheated in a microwave a day later and it was still better than steaks I've had at other restaurants right off the grill!!!. Love Longhorn and will forever be a customer!!!! Thanks for a wonderful...
Read moreTraveling to this area for work, I decided to stop off at Longhorn in attempt for a healthier option for dinner. Immediately walking in, I directly went to the bar as I was ordering for myself. The bartender was not unfriendly, but definitely not welcoming. The drink he made however was quite tasty. from the conversations he was having with his co-workers, I'm guessing he was new. The woman who took my order was very energetic, and made me feel like a valued customer. She placed my food order quickly and efficiently. while waiting for my food to come out, I overheard a conversation the manager was having with some other customers sitting at the other end of the bar. He went on about the different types of food delivery services and which ones were his favorite based on different pricing options for the restaurant and customer. He was specifically singling out doordash, a service I often use on a weekly basis. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however as a restaurant manager you think you would want to keep those options open to stay in touch with your customer base and not publicly denounce a possible partnership that could be beneficial for your business.
The food was superb. My steak was perfectly cooked medium temperature. My sweet potato was cooked perfectly as well with no butter or sugar as I requested.
If I'm back in the area, I may...
Read moreThe waitress was absolutely amazing but the steak I spent $26 on was not good I literally only ate 2 bites of it and that was it I gave the rest to my cousins fiance who had come to celebrate my mom's birthday who also only ate a little bit of it and said it wasn't good at all. If I'm spending that much money on a steak it should be up to par. I would give this more stars if and only if it were upon the waitresses job. She definitely would get 5 stars if it were on her performance alone but with the steak being terrible and this being an establishment mainly selling steak I was surely dissapointed and will not be going back. When my steak at home is better than going out there's a problem. Yes my cooking of steak isn't very good so I guess one could say that's the issue aha. However, this is about an establishment making steak there like main thing and charging quite a bit and then not even making it good enough to eat. Especially when there menu says it's so tender you can cut it with a fork. It definitely was not by the way it was hard to even cut with a steak knife. Thank you for taking nearly $60 from me and not even living up to the...
