DONT ORDER FROM HERE. Alot of better Poke places to order from. I will NEVER come here AGAIN. We ordered two poke bowls and ONLY ONE bowl had protein in it. We order 3 scoops of fish for both and the one bowl that did have fish barely had any and the other bowl had NONE. The whole point of a poke bowl is to have fish. The bowl was small and the fish smelled incredibly fishy and had a weird color to it. I contacted the restaurant ASAP when we recieved the bowl and told them what happened. I understand mistakes happen and at first it wasnt an issue until the employee told me what the possible resolution were. Option 1: The employee told me to reorder on UberEats and i could get another bowl that way. So I would have to pay MORE fees and TIP? On top of what I just already paid? No thank you. Option 2: She told me I could drive all the way to the restaurant and bring my bowl back so they could see that i didnt get the fish and they would give it to me, that way. No thanks, the whole point of UberEats was the convenience. Also, my car was in the autoshop so i absolutely had no way to inconvenience myself to get there. Option #3 she told me to contact UberEats for a refund, I could not get a hold of UberEats immediately so therefore there was no immediate resolution. Option #4 she told me she would write my name down and I could come by anytime and get another bowl on them because they forgot to correctly make ny order. I told her that was fine and i'll come by when it's convenient since the restaurant is out of the way. 3 weeks later, i decide to redeem my bowl. I call in advance just to confirm that had wrote my name down because i had a feeling that they wouldn't or didn't care too. I call and explained the situation and the employee asked is for Johana? And I replied no, and I gave her the correct name under the accout. She said that i had already claimed my free bowl and i told her that we absolutely did not. She said didn't remember this situation so she put me on hold again and said that she spoke with UberEats and they issued me a $5 credit therefore she can't give me the bowl like they initially said. My problem is that you ALREADY told me that you're sorry that this happened (again not a big deal) but its the LACK of customer service thats the issue. The female employee said "we can no longer keep our word and offer the bowl on us because we just spoke with UberEats and they gave you $5". I told her dont worry about it, i no longer need the bowl. She then preceeds to offer 20% off my next order. I told her, dont worry about it. I dont need it. Im annoyed at the lack of communication and customer services that the restaurant has. I actually had another poke restaurant forget my fish on my bowl as well when i order from UberEats and the owner actually drove to my house and dropped off the correct order. That IS customer service. While I dont expect that same resolution. A simple, im sorry, ill refund your order would have suffied. But, no a bunch of crappy resolutions. While I love to support small businesses but this place will no longer get my business and i will let everyone I know about the lack of customer service that i received. After reading the other bad reviews, others have experienced...
Read moreSo this place was recommended to me by a friend of mine that is vegan. He says that he enjoys this place and I have never had a poke bowl, so last night I gave it. Upon walking and I was asked to place my order, and I needed a minute to look and see what I wanted. I did go ahead and get one of those bowls that were on the menu and not make my own, because I didn't really know what I was doing.
I also got an order of egg rolls and an apple drink. In total I spent $20 even on those three items and at first I was thinking okay that the bowl maybe a little high-priced, but the fact that I almost couldn't finish the bowl and then I felt over full, it was enough for me to have for two meals, the next time I will definitely make it two.
I ended up ordering the Wasabi Mami just as it comes with no modifications. The next time I definitely will be modifying the wasabi Mayo, as it was slightly more for my taste buds than I usually would want, but it was not so bad that I could not eat. And I will tell you that it was delicious. In particular and helped me because I do have a slight cold and it helped to clear out my sinuses lol.
As far as taste goes, for someone who's never had a poke bowl, I would liken it to sushi in the fact that the taste and ingredients are very much that, except it's not in the roll form or wrapped in seaweed. And since I like sushi, this was right up my alley. You can choose a smoked, raw, or cooked protein.
Eggs Rolls, 2.50 for two, were delicious and they did not even make it home because I ate them even though they were super hot.
The aloe drink is a drink that I am familiar with and get all the time at my local gas station or grocery store. I did get aloe drink and it was 2.99 there, which is the same price as it would be at the gas station.
The restaurant itself is small and in a plaza, but there is seating and a restroom there should you need it, and the walls are painted nicely.
Overall, I was very pleased with the taste. When I got ready to leave they did tell me to have a good night. The service was good. I will say to the service did not wear gloves, while they young guy did wear gloves. But they were not touching the food, just scooping. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try. A regular bowl is 12.95. That includes two scoops of protein in your bowl. If you would like more you can get more for an upcharge or get the larger bowl which comes with three scoops as it is. All the other items in your bowl include one scoop of the items, but you can pay for a second scoop with the side things as well. I'll see you get a choice of rice where they would like brown rice or sushi...
Read moreI really can't get over the fact that they make Poke burritos here!!! It was encased in sushi rice & a seaweed wrap. When I tell you greatest invention EVER!!! I got the vegetarian version with fried tofu (gluten free, fried with veggie oil) and all the fixings inside. I love poke & I love sushi so this was a great blend of the two in some form or fashion. Highly recommend trying over the traditional bowl if you're feeling adventurous. This is also one of the cheaper poke places I've come across and the portions are grand. You can choose from one of their signature bowls or create your own. You can also choose to do a salad option. Additionally, they offer milk tea and fruit tea with boba or popping bubbles.
There's ample seating indoors and outdoors but the aesthetics are more pleasing inside. The place wasn't too packed when I dined in but there was a steady flow of people so I'd say this place is pretty popular. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. Overall great...
