Baboushi — Restaurant in Dallas

This is not hatred review against the owner as other reviewers. I order through Uber Eats to my workplace, food was delivered surprisingly quick, like in 15mins. However the Chicken Shawarma bowl I order is ice cold, not sure if they just sent over some unattended order sitting on their counter for a long time. I understand food gets cold during delivery, my order was delivered during 11:20AM when the outside temp is around 100F on a bicycle in under 10mins from the time is picked by the uber delivery guy.

Food was brutally bland. No hot sauce though ai clearly asked for extra white n hot n both were missing.

I wanted to give 1 star but looking at some rift in the reviews against some misunderstanding of racism to other restaurant, ended up giving 2.

Another one of those you wish you could give a negative star. The young man behind the counter could care less customers were there. Besides the fact he didn't say a word, didn't seem to have a friendly attitude, slammed everything he touched, he was busy eating, talking to his friend, and on the phone. On top of the terrible service, you'll get terrible food. My lamb gyro, lamb being very questionable, was mushy and the shredded lamb (shredded, huh??) was just gross. I also ordered a baklava was possibly worse than the gyro. It was dry, had no flavor, and tasted like old, dried-up nuts [of some kind]. Just keep moving and eat somewhere else in...

cently dined at Baboushi, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish. The savory aroma of freshly grilled shawarma greeted me upon entry, setting the stage for a culinary delight.
