I really enjoy the birria nachos that they serve on the weekends (Friday - Sunday). I get my nachos with everything on them, and the serving size usually ends up being large enough to split between two people.
I usually also get a fountain drink since The Exchange has a ton of drink options (natural and soda) that are self-serve, which I prefer over bottled drinks.
The reason I've rated their service low is because if you don't give them your phone number, you won't get a text that your order is ready and will need to wait nearby to listen for it.
There was one occasion where I was nearby and they didn't call my name (and didn't collect my phone number), so my order ended up sitting on the counter and was cold by the time I got it. When I went to ask for them to remake it, they said they'd texted me and when I said they didn't, they said they called my name, which they also didn't do. They were really rude and I only got my order fixed once I complained at the cashiers. That was a...
Read moreGreetings thank you for reading the review. Message of communication is this establishment is outstanding and it is the closest Mexican food that I have been able to find in the state of Texas that resembles that sentimental appreciation for Mexican food for my upbringing in San Diego California. This is a location that Reminds me of tacos, El Gordo and if you know anything about authentic Mexican food tacos, El Gordo is King! For those looking for a California style type of taco come to Chilango’s tacos you have my word and they have my blessing. Come get your fix and it doesn’t even have to be taco Tuesday! Jenny, Diego, Gina, Zahara and Eddie helped me out and were proper, professional and proficient! Prices are very affordable. Even The lines are long. It goes down very fast. And the turnover to get your food is very convenient less than...
Read moreIt appears this location is charging what they charge because they have the expense of paying rent. Although the food is well seasoned, you don’t get the bang for your buck. What they call a quesadilla is the size of a taco and the taco is actually the size of a street taco. I’ll stick with their nachos. Tacos and quesadillas are over priced for the size you get. Regarding their nachos, very good and flavorful, you just run the risk of getting stale chips because they leave them open and exposed to air in the bin and black bag they keep them in. Only because their seasoning is on point is why I didn’t give them a 2 or 3...
