What can I say, 2 weekends ago, I was super stoked to visit this place because I saw it on Tiktok and I picked it as a solo date. When I arrived the staff was really kind and tried to be accommodating as possible, because it was super cold that night and I had to wait outside until a seat opened up at the bar. While I was waiting, I was brought a cute free drink, and when I went inside I was brought another just for the wait :-) That was a really nice touch. I picked the old fashion drink from the menu and the waiter let me know if was a bit on the sweet side. I should have heeded the warning it was not for me. However, it was presented really well, and I love a good presentation. The ambience was cute and quaint, a nice place to bring a small group of friends or to go on a date. All that being said, around 11:30-11:40(I don't know exactly what time it was) I asked my male waiter if I could order something from the menu. He said no the kitchen closed at 11:30pm and I accepted that answer and was content. However, since I was by myself I was just people watching and 2 guys walked in after me and were seated at the bar. I was seated facing the bar. The 2 guys also ordered after me, so imagine my surprise at little after 12 they were brought out food, and someone from the back came out to shake their hand. This was extremely off-putting, so I asked to speak to a manager. At the same time a lady walked by to ask if I was doing o.k, not sure if she was a manager, but her name was Diamond. I explained to her my experience and she let me know that the kitchen stopped serving at 12, which in turn bothered me even more that I was now given a different time. Despite my experience, Diamond was extremely friendly and helpful she offered to comp my drink because I mentioned it it was too sweet. And told me that if I come back to ask for her and she would make sure that my experience was good. I hate that that was my first experience I may take her up on her offer because her level of service was definitely top-tier!

Went for the first time last night with a few other people. Made a reservation for a table inside & was excited to try it since I had heard a lot about it and it sounded like the right vibe for our group. We wanted a place that had good drinks & a little something to eat. We had a late lunch and knew we’d want a little something later. Our friends arrived on time and went to check in for the reservation. They were told that they needed to wait to see if one of two tables were going to get up and then they would be seated. They went to the bar to wait and let us know about the situation. We show up a little after them and let the host know we a have a reservation and are with the other people at the bar. We are told that we can’t go to the bar because it’s not an open bar but can wait on a bench outside. They hand us a drink menu & say we can order from the bench if we want. Still, we weren’t particularly happy about this since we couldn’t understand the point of making a reservation if there’s no table for us anyways. We waited since we wanted to try the place and one of our friends actually switches places with me so I can sit at the bar & order some drinks. The bartender wasn’t super friendly but made the drinks and the drinks were just okay. At this point we waited for 30 min past our reserved time. Not long after this, a table opened up and we met our other friends from outside and sat down. We looked at the menus and someone came to take our order and when we went to order food….we were told the kitchen had closed right before we sat. Great. We then decided to pay & leave. Had we been sat at our reserved time, we would have been able to eat something which was part of the reason we wanted a table in the first place. We were disappointed and found the overall experience to be lacking. The drinks were okay, not great. The service was subpar. The atmosphere was nice though and had a more chill vibe but it is a smaller place. It does have some outdoor seating though. Overall, we have no reason to go back. There are other places to check out that offer a much...

The host was incredibly rude and dismissive. He originally told us the wait was 15-20 mins, and encouraged us to sit at the neighborhood restaurant, Namo, while we wait. When we asked the hostess at Namo how long for our reservation at Bar Colette, she informed us we were never added to their list. We kindly asked to speak with the host again, and explained we wanted a drink at the Bar. He blamed the confusion on us, but proceeded to say he would “grab his tablet, and be right back to take our name and number for the reservation” but that we wouldn’t get in for another 2 hours… how odd. He then, never returned to take our name or number. We flagged him down AGAIN and asked to be put on the list, he argued saying it would be a long wait, we again insisted we were fine to wait at the sister restaurant. About 30 mins later he came over to offer us an outdoor seat by the “counter” and that he would “pull a heater over” so we weren’t cold. It was also raining, mind you. We were also the only people that would have been sitting outside. He tried to sell it as an exclusive seat, but that’s an absolute lie. Much to our surprise, the sister restaurant closed at 10, and we were told our reservation at Bar Colette would not be until 11:30, which the host knew full well, that we would not be able to sit here and wait for that time. Absolutely despicable service. Condescending attitude. We went from being told it was a 15 min wait to two hours, in under a 20 minute window, with no one else entering their doors.

Do not recommend. Go somewhere else, where your money is appreciated and you are...
