Been coming here for years, like almost 10. These new people they have working there are just not the business. Last time I came the guy on the register gave me such a hard time about extra ketchup packets. I specifically asked for A LOT of extra packets. I said I would pay for it if it's an issue. Well this evening was the kicker for me. First, the lady working had walked over to the register area to take a peek at my ticket to get a head start on it. I say this because I specifically work in this industry so I could tell that's what she was doing. The gentleman on the register got really rude with her and asked if she would like to be on the register. She was trying to tell him she was just getting a head start but the gentleman was again very rude to her. That is not how you act, especially in the front of house. And it shouldn't be done in the back of house either because employees should not be treating each other that way. Well, now back to my actual order. I clearly stated when I placed my order that I did not want any of the special sauce just a lot of extra ketchup packets. The guy looked at me and I said it again "like a lot of extra ketchup packets". And he nodded as if he understood. I paid for my $15 order and left a $5 tip which is well above the 20% that most people expect. I went next door to half Price books to kill time while they made my order and when I came back it was ready. I looked at the gentleman I said are my extra ketchup packets in there and he reached over and grabbed a couple and put them in there. I was assuming that he had already done what I had requested when I placed my order which was no special sauce and A LOT extra ketchup packets and was adding even a few more. Like I said, he then grabbed a couple and threw them in the bag and again I just assumed (my fault) that he was adding more to what was already in there that I had requested when I placed my order. Nope! I get all the way home which is 20 minutes away which means I drove well out of my way just to come to this restaurant to get all the way home and only have five packets of ketchup. Just five. And I have two containers of the special sauce I clearly stated that I did not want any of. So not only are your employees rude and do not listen to the paying customer. They are also purposely wasting your product because I'm literally going to throw this in the trash. And with the cost of goods and everything right now for restaurants and businesses, the last thing anyone needs is purposeful waste. I really don't know if I'll ever come back here. It might be worth it to drive 25 minutes to Fred's instead. Because now I've tipped somebody for service they did not provide and did not earn. And now I am out an hour of my time and $10 because these spicy fries are also going to go right in the trash.

08/26/2023: Philly cheesesteaks are so good in my opinion and I had high hopes for Big Tony’s. The location was in a nondescript strip mall off of Preston, not too far north of 635. The place was decked out in a ton of Philly love. I arrived around dinner time and I was the only one in the restaurant minus the 3 employees. The place was above comfortable dining temperature. Probably at least 80-85 inside. Outside was hotter, but I wouldn’t want to eat in the restaurant at that temperature. The place is facing west and the sun was blaring through the storefront. I ordered 2 cheesesteaks and the combo fried seafood. The cheesesteaks were both substantial, but fairly salty. The bread was nice and a a good chew to it. The meat was grilled fresh, but over seasoned. The whiz was a little too much. I did like the onions. The mushrooms in one sandwich were canned. That was disappointing. The fried seafood wasn’t that great either. Not really fresh. Just frozen “catfish”, shrimp, and fries. Probably not gonna go here again. I have had better cheesesteaks. Sorry for the bad review. Wish I didn’t have to write one.

Big Tony’s West Philly Cheesesteaks are absolutely the best around. I live 40 minutes from the Allen location and drive there periodically due to how delicious they are. I have brought most of my out of town guests to Big Tony’s and on their return trip another time, they insist on going for another sandwich and fries. My son in law is a pilot for one of the local airlines and when he has time to stay over in Dallas, I pick him up and we go to Tony’s. (Yes, it’s that good!!) I will eat a large #4 (extra meat) and mushrooms while I am there and order another one to have a day or two later and/or have for lunch another day with my wife. The personnel at both of Tony’s locations are always nice.

Wow where do I even begin?!? I’m from Oklahoma staying here for work. I’m one of the biggest Philadelphia Eagles fans you’ll ever meet. So when I was looking for places to eat dinner and I came across “Big Tony West Philly Cheesesteaks” you could imagine my enthusiasm and excitement.. I seen Philadelphia Eagles fans and I said to myself “I Found My People”

That enthusiasm quickly went out the window when I stepped foot in this establishment! This is exactly how my experience went. No BS! No exaggeration!

I walk in the door first thing I see is the 2x Philadelphia Eagles Banner I smile and start looking around. Register worker is standing there having a conversation with another customer. He stops mid conversation and says “you okay man you looking all around making me nervous thought I was gonna have to go grab my 45 out the back”

enthusiasm and excitement straight out the door!

What I did to deserve that interaction I’ll never know!! The register worker and his customer had them a laugh about the fact that he mentioned “having to go grab the 45 out the back” he then got the customer number or email address while he stood at the register for 5 mins having a conversation with said customer before he acknowledged me again!

It’s hard finding Eagles fans in Oklahoma lets Alone IN Cowboys Territory! So it’s really discouraging to have an experience like this in an establishment with such great Eagles memorabilia!

The food was great but the customer service alone will...

Three stars to leave a neutral review as the quality can be great but is not consistent. We’ve ordered delivery from this location previously via UberEats. We have tried the Broadsteak, Pepper Cheesesteak, Mushroom Cheesesteak, The Rocky, and The Vet. The fries were usually good. We’ve also had mozzarella sticks and spicy fried pickles. When made right, they’re great but unfortunately the bread was sometimes hard, and sometimes low meat and cheese ratio. We continued to support them as we knew the potential to be great.

Regrettably, one day we decided to pick up since we were in the area. The staff was unwelcoming when we walked in to pick up our call-in order. When we had to go back for something that was missing, they had begun speaking negatively about us and we heard a very rude gesture when they didn’t realize we’d be walking back in so quickly. It’s okay, though. I’m very glad true colors were shown. We won’t be returning where we aren’t welcomed and it appears there have been a few reviews consistent with staff. It’s unfortunate as I’ve mentioned we enjoyed them in the past, but I refuse to continue spending my money where people are blatantly...
