Wonderful food at a great price for the quality. But the poor service overtakes your experience coupled with the fact that gratuity is added to your bill so youâre forced to pay for horrible service, and I was only in a party of 3. It took an hour plus to receive my food. Our waiter was switched in the middle of service because she had a panic attack and that was only explained after we went to the bar to inquire about not being served at any capacity. This was my second visit even though the results of my first visit was the same. I try to be fair and give any establishment the excuse of them just having an off night, but it seems as if the staff both waiters and kitchen staff becomes overwhelmed easily. I started not to add a review of displeasure after seeing the confrontational responses of the owner on both google and yelp, but maybe they can read this and improve. Also I noticed that the owner commented on one of the reviews that gratuity is up to the restaurantâs discretion if they feel that the table will not tip. I just wonder how morally that decision is made. I believe automatically adding gratuity enables your staff to be lack luster in their performance because they know they will be compensated anyway. Bottom line is.....your location, live band, and food quality is a plus. But your service and response to constructive criticism is undesirable. Thanks to James our replacement server that tried his best to do service recovery hopefully this review will be taken seriously and he wonât have to continue to apologize for the restaurantâs short comings. Below are examples of Bucky Moonshineâs...
Read moreWe went here because we were in the mood for some Cajun food. Their portions are generous. Our waitress was quite helpful and attentive. She did forget a couple of things as the night got busier. But I guess the same could happen to me with all the balls in the air as it relates to customer service. I had the Etouffee and I must say it was a nice generous portion and quite good. The fried chicken wings were not what we expected. I guess we were expecting the more traditional wings that were spicy. Instead, it was basically an order of fried chicken with some not so spicy sauce. Even their voodoo sauce was not spicy enough. I guess we just like it hot. The portion was generous . You could almost have it as an entree. I guess we were thinking it was going to be more like good old fashion wings where your hands got dirty eating them. I guess this was our bad. The other item we ordered was a Blackened Catfish dish and I felt it was bland. I also ordered a margarita and it was too strong and just tasted like some tequilla on the rocks. They did give me another one which was nice but I am not sure Margarita's are their specialty. Overall, I would give them an average rating based on our experience. I feel their customer service could step up a bit to really give their customers more of a feel they really love what they do. We as the customer too sometimes struggle with letting you where you all may have dropped the ball because we feel bad. I am sure you are really trying to give us your best. I hope this review provides some feedback on a particular...
Read moreThere is so much to say about this place, first thing first, you have to pay for parking on a Sunday. I am in my 50s, Bucky Moonshine was not what I wanted to deal with on a Sunday morning. My Lady and I were looking for a Bunch Spot, were we could have a few drinks, eat some good food, and sit and have a conversation. I could not even hear myself think, The D.J and the loud music was not expected. The D.J could not mix a song to save his life, and then he was wearing an 80s tracksuit with matching brown/orange New balance sneakers (Flashback), trying to pass the mic for people so that they could sing. Our waitress did her best, despite the fact that she also could not hear a word that we were trying to tell her, we were all yelling. The food was a C, very limited seasoning, to much salt in some cases. My lady did not like the mimosases, she said that the orange juice tasted stale, I was thinking the same thing but I kept drinking. This restaurant is for people in their 20s maybe up till 35 years old. My lady was pissed off when one of the table had a birthday girl that got up and started Twerking, thank God that she was stop by some of the ladies at her table. In my opinion only, not a chill spot for people 45 and up, granted there were a few people in the upper age bracket that seem to be enjoying themselves. Also, look at your receipt they add gratuity, (which is usually done when customers don't. I missed the gratuity part and tip an additional 36.00 dollars. So for two people with parking and missing to added in gratuity, I spent almost 200.00. Not a big deal if the...
