The biggest problem we had was the lack of sympathy from staff. We don’t come to Bishop Arts often, but the day we decided to come for my birthday to experience this Karaoke lounge, it was very busy out here. There was a fleet market that was causing tons of confusion for me and my guest. My party all arrived around 20-30 mins before time of our karaoke session, but spent ost of that time trying to find parking and find the place. The Casanova lounge was ducked off inside the area and gps only does so much. Asking around for help finding the place didn’t get us far either. I even called the place to let them know we were in the area, but due to parking and looking for the place, we were going to be arriving late. My original reservation was at 5:00pm and they pushed it back til 5:15pm. Once we finally found the place around 5:15pm, I was taken to my room, but my party were still finding their way. To make a long story short, they showed no sympathy for the hard time we had finding the place. Customer service wasn’t that good from those up front. The waiter was cool, but that’s it. They even told us we had to leave 15 mins before our hour was up to get ready for the next reservation, so we spent about $90 for 45 mins with rude service (telling us to leave before our time was up). Would have been okay if they allowed 1 hr and 30 mins - 2 hrs or something. We didn’t even order food r drinks due to the short amount of time provided. Overall, worse karaoke experience! Hands down! Also, wanted to say they tip themselves with a gratuity bill even if you don’t order food or drinks. Beware: service could be bad and they’ll still...
Read moreWe went here to celebrate a birthday, the place was hard to find, parking is horrible(they don’t have any, you just have to park anywhere). They are in a busy area so it took us asking around to find the place. We were a little late because of the traffic outside and some flea market going on that no one knew about. They do not give you directions to their place you just have to walk around to find it, plus it’s not even called Casanova it’s called something else. So if you don’t know the name of the actual place good luck. They rushed us and was putting us out 15mins before our time was supposed to end. Spent $80 for a rushed 45 to 50 mins. They were not accommodating at all, they were actually rude about it. The server was not rude but everybody else was. The server was trying but his managers wouldn’t budge. 1 hour to me is not long enough especially if they expect you to buy food and drinks while you are doing Karaoke. Plus their machine was not working so we had to use our phones. Totally not worth the hassle, there are plenty of places with free karaoke that are much much better. Karaoke at a bar would’ve been better than this. 0 out of 10 do not recommend!!! Like how are you not willing to make accommodations for people but you expect your customers to make accommodations for you when your equipment in the room is not working properly? Make it make since, worst experience in an establishment in a while. The menu really isn’t that good so we did not order anything even if we did we wouldn’t have had time to eat...
Read moreI went there to celebrate my birthday on a Friday night for an hour and loved it. Me and two of my friends were able to sing and have a great time. The issue arose when it came time for the bill. Our server, Paloma, was mean, nasty, and disrespectful. When we arrived we were offered water and decided not to order drinks or food since we would only be there for an hour. She checked on us once and that's all we saw of her. When it came to the bill we were charged a large group gratuity of 20%. I was irritated because it was only 3 of us, we should not have been considered a large party. All Paloma did was get us water and that's it. I believe in tipping a server but not $20 for that. I asked about the charge and clearly told her that I was upset and should be able to decide for myself how much I would like to tip her and in her exact words she told us "You're going to pay it". At that point, my sister asked for the manager and Paloma still continued to try to argue with us. Finally the manager came in and we explained that we would like the gratuity to be removed as Paloma was nasty with us and she proceeded to tell us what we would and would not be doing with our money. The place is beautiful and I would return, now I know about the large group gratuity, if I was to go back, I should stay longer and make it more of a night event instead of an hour event to get my...
