Cashier doesn't know how to describe the food, which wasn't a big deal until the food came out. I ordered enmoladas, and I asked her when I ordered if they put queso fresco on them. First, she said no, then I asked her if she could ask, and the lady in the kitchen said yes. I wanted to try the cabeza tacos, but the cashier said I had to order a full plate with 5 of them. When food came out, I was disappointed to see the enmoladas had no queso fresco, rice was dry it looked over cooked. The flavor of the enmoladas and the chicken was not bad, but no what I was expecting. My boyfriend ordered a milaneza torta, and he was disappointed too. The bolillo was kid of hard from the top, and the milaneza was hard. We also tried the chicharron, barbacoa taco, and catnitas they were okay. We don't know if we will be back. First time here was absolutely delicious!! The manager, Ronny(sp)?, made us feel special. He asked for our feedback on everything we ordered and really listened. And we ordered a variety of food- birria tacos, barbacoa tacos, enchiladas and chicken taco. We were curious about the pork tamales and he brought some to our table. They were good but I personally like them to be spicy. My husband asked him about menudo and was really excited it was made with pork feet! Ronny brought him a taste and he ended up ordering some to eat there after we already had our entrees! The menudo has no hominy but great taste! Let's start with the service, it was fantastic! The lady at the counter was very nice and welcoming even if my Spanish is horrible. Now to the food, unfortunately it was not good at all. Flautas were soggy and uninspired. The refried beans (not seasoned) the rice was okay. I ordered enchiladas in red sauce and someone in the kitchen decided that rather than making a proper red sauce they would heat up some red salsa , take some grilled chicken, throw it on a tortilla and send it home with me. All in I spent $45 so you don't have to. I came to this spot when they first opened and it was really good, but I cannot recommend you spend your money here.
