I’m beyond disappointed with my experience at this establishment on the night of March 16th. Over 20 cars were broken into, and instead of showing empathy or concern, management acted as if our presence and hard-earned money meant nothing. The security at the door knew about the break-ins because they were warned earlier, yet they chose not to make an announcement. So, while we were inside spending money, drinking, and supporting the business, they allowed us to remain completely unaware that our vehicles had been vandalized.
What exactly are you securing? If security isn’t there to protect patrons and their property, then what’s the point?
To make matters worse, when I asked the manager for a garbage bag to temporarily cover my shattered window, she claimed they didn’t have any—while I was literally looking at a bag in the trash can. Not only was that unprofessional, but the way she carried herself, I would’ve never guessed she was in charge. She looked more like a customer than a manager, and her attitude showed zero concern.
What’s even more suspicious? An employee’s car, parked in the same area, was the only one untouched.
I used to love coming here, but after this experience, I won’t be returning. If you’re going to run a business—especially a Black-owned establishment during the climate of our country—take care of your patrons and provide safer parking accommodations. At the very least, show some respect for the people choosing to support you. This was...

From the Neon sign out front, Ben at the door, the fuzzy wall through the entrance, and staffs greeting you very friendly as soon as you walk in, the music is bumping, mood is sexy. Oh wow. This bar is beyond what Dallas.
I have never been to a place that made me feel like I belong there at the first visit. We came in on Thursday and I had never felt more welcome and cared for. Drinks were beyond amazing. We tried all of their draft cocktails first. At first, very skeptical as bartender named Joon said Paloma was his favorite and it's fast... He turned around and poured it out of draft machine. He did not lie- the man knew what he was doing! It was perfectly tart, sweet, and refreshing and it was so bubbly. Cold fashioned was so easy drinking, Gin drink was had subtle tropical and tartness to it. and... their Long Island Iced Tea!?! Get out of here.
Joon said Long Island was the bar owner's favorite drink ever. He graced us with a round of shots- they were fruity and citrusy. We heard so much about Double D's and now I'm a fan. Every single people we talked to were the nicest, they were so busy but I didn't feel like I was waiting long for anything.
Highly Recommend Double D's To anyone looking to have the...
Read moreWhat a great bar. It's only been open around a month and I have been there over half a dozen times 😃 The drinks are fantastic. There are draft cocktails, I recommend the Cold Fashioned. A classic cocktail section with a delicious 😋 espresso martini. On the house cocktail selection the Bingo Bango is a must. There are only a handful of places in Dallas that I'll drink a Martini and the AF Martini is one of them. If you need something to cheers with your friend the Razzle Dazzle is a tasty choice. No food yet but, I heard that they are working on that. The look and feel of the bar super casual. It has a very 70s look to it. The mirrored ceiling over the bar super cool 😎. There is a living room area with couches and chairs off to one side. A pool table and TV on the other side of the bar. Lots banquette and high top seating available as well. There is a very glitz DJ booth right off from the front door. The music choice early in the night seems to be 90 hip hop not sure what they spin late at night. There seems to be a consensus with many of my friends that this place has Slip Inn vibes (to those that know, you know) There is street parking plus a valet in the front. Can't wait to go back...
