Espumoso Caffe became my favorite coffee shop in Bishop Arts after the first time my girlfriend and I visited, but that is honestly limiting my opinion of it at this point. Espumoso is now easily and firmly my favorite coffee shop of all time. Not only is the staff always incredibly nice and pleasant, but the environment of the shop always feels welcoming. I wouldn’t even remotely think so highly though if those were the only praises for this place. I cannot emphasize this enough— TRY. THE EMPANADAS. I have never had better empanadas in my entire life. The savory Ham and Cheese and Pepperoni and Cheese are my girlfriend and I’s favorites. If all of that wasn’t enough to convince you of the quality of this store, the coffee is incredibly reasonably priced by comparison to most coffee shops these days, with a quality superior to any big-brand coffee that you’ve ever had. I could say more, but to keep this succinct, Espumoso is a must-try if you’re in the...

I dropped in, looking for a place to work, on a Monday morning (945am) in February. No one there but the proprietor and a lone lumbersexual with a laptop. A review had enthused about the chai lattes, so I ordered one without my usual interrogation. It turned out to be a typical oversweetened one from a mix. On the plus side there's a nice range of Anglo and Latin pastries, including some I hadn't heard of.
There's seven two tops and a short bar with stools. Minimal collection of bagged teas. A big hunk of space wasted by routine ice cream, and another by slightly more interesting sodas. Free wi-fi and a couple of outlets. No rest room - BIG minus there. Nice wood floor and painted old metal ceiling. Music, of some dance genre I can't...

You ordered an Americano. This is an Americano, homie.” He passed me my drink and shrugged. I didn’t receive a “thank you” or “have a good day” I’ve worked as a barista and shift lead at a local coffeeshop before in my hometown for almost two years.I want to think I know which drink I’m ordering, especially when their menu said “double espresso or quad espresso”. An Americano is a double espresso over water, not ice. Service was not up to par, and if there is a way to educate and tell their guests what they order, this was definitely not it. I’m super disappointed, because the espresso...
