Crave Donuts — Restaurant in Dallas

This morning my four year old had an appointment he didn’t want to go to, so like any good mom I bribed him and told him we could get donuts on the way home at somewhere new to us that he had never been before! Extra exciting! I put a book in my purse to read during his appointment…a book which weighs approximately the same as my wallet. Appointment done, we go to Crave, and I let him go hog wild picking out donuts. The very nice lady boxes them up and I go to pay…and realize the thing in my purse is not my wallet but a book. I can’t remember the last time I was that embarrassed. I apologize and go to leave and explain my life’s failures to my four year old…and the lady tells me to take the donuts and pay next time. I have never been to Crave before today. This lady doesn’t know me. She doesn’t know if there will be a “next time”. I almost cried. Throw the kid in the car, race home, grab wallet, race back…she was not only surprised to see me but tried to give me back some of the tip I was giving her for being so kind. I am a customer for life. What amazing customer service. She helped me avoid a full on four year old meltdown that admittedly would have been my own fault. Thank you thank you thank you.

And of course the donuts were...

Went by here the other day on a whim because they were open later than my regular donut shop. I made it just before close and ordered regular glazed, but was eyeing the cronut as I had never had one before. After I paid, the owner ended up giving me the cronut I was eyeing to try. It had berries on top like a La Madeleine fruit tart and OMG! If was AMAZING! Not too sweet, it had some sort of whip cream on top, which is usually not my thing, but thia was different and so delicious with the fruit and cronut flavors. A must try. And I will...

I went in this morning to get some donuts for my class and I ordered 2 dozen of a variety, the woman at the registet was so sweet and she even gave me some free treats to try. The donut were delicious the class loved them and I had some leftover I ate after dinner 12 hours later and the donut still tasted great! I also came here once on my birthday last year and got some donuts and kolachis before our road trip. Such a cute little donut shop 😍 I never leave reviews but I was feeling compelled after I ate that...
