Being a margarita snob - This is one of my old favorite spots before the pandemic & the rise of prices. When their amazing frozen margarita used to be $3.50. 👀 Now almost $14 bucks. Calm down Gloria’s. These are club prices. Anywho, the service at the bar has always been great- a little different this time. The young lady never brought chips, bean dip , and salsa. After finishing my drink, I asked if they no longer offered them (clearly seeing that the next two couples were being served their second portions) - to which she replied, “oh, would you like some?” 🤦♀️ Everyone KNOWS this is the perk to enjoying Gloria’s. Okay. I’ll stick with the Las Colinas location. Finished my drink, said goodnight, crunched two chips and was out. Valet is always wonderful here - tipped them, they always park me right up front with the fancy cars 😅 They must like my car 🤷♂️ By the way, there is not really an option to self- park unless you park off location near the restaurant. The bar is a wrap around inside the beautifully decorated expansive dining area. Plenty of patio seating which is consistently covered & cooled with fans & fine mist. The staff is great - serving with smiles (save this last experience) and the food is fresh. II’ve visited every location from Frisco, Lemmon Ave, to Bishop Arts and all the ones in between. It’s where I take my guests. When they opened up the location in Las Colinas - at the Toyota Music Factory complex- it was my weekly go - to. My favorite social spot after work when I owned my own business. Since the time they opened til now, always great service - always bustling. Las Colinas (Irving) is Considerably smaller in size than this Greenville location, but Las Colinas has street parking and a huge parking garage. Hope this helps! Try the Pescada a la Gloria soup (delicious seafood soup), the shrimp enchiladas, and the pupusas 🫓. The salmon chimichurri salad 🥗 is also a must try! I’ve added a picture of my ‘chip-less’ drink - fresh lime, tasty, and not a concentrated mix....

Read moreWow! The complimentary side of tortilla chips was so delicious! The red and green sauce were so well seasoned to go with the chips. The fried black beans went so well with the chips as well!
Beyond that we had the Ceviche Trio. It was such a delicious blend of three different and unique ceviche concepts that I haven’t tasted before and was authentic because one of the ceviche had fresh raw shrimp. One was a yummy tomato, one was more sour and savory, and one was well balanced overall.
The highlight of the evening was the Fresh Blackened Red Snapper entree. This had a well sized red snapper fillet, well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and topped with a smooth and light sauce and fresh shrimp. The green rice was mouth watering at first glance and complements the fish and shrimp so well. This was not grossly overfilling at all. Fabulous Authentic Salvadoran seafood dish indeed.
Lastly, my partner had the beef fajita Chimichanga. Guac is so premium and fresh. Spanish rice was scrumptious. Fried pinto beans went well with the melty cheese chimichanga. Truly a way Deadpool will like his chimichanga to be!
Service was kind, attentive, and respectful too! This is a 💯 customer experience.
I am definitely...
