Gram's Donuts — Restaurant in Dallas

Gram's was a mainstay during our two years in Dallas. This is the best donut place we went to, and I have been not reviewing for the past 2 years to keep it secret!

Their donut holes (glazed and chocolate sprinkles) are on a whole different level. The chocolate sprinkles do sell out from time to time, but sometimes they're willing to make more. The glazed are the perfect amount of pillowy light donut with that classic donut shop glaze. The chocolate sprinkles take that pillowy donut and add just the right amount of chocolate and the texture from the sprinkles give it a fantastic crunch and add just a bit more sweet.

The other donuts and kolaches also get high remarks, but if you go here, get the donut holes.

I have had many amazing donuts in OR and WA. Tried several places now that we moved to Dallas. This is my new go to place. They are always friendly and when the donuts are warm they melt in your mouth. Took my grand children when they visited and the man gave them free donut holes in a bag so they could hold them. I love the cronut and the chocolate with coconut! They are addictive. But I usually get a couple croissants and some donut holes. They warm them if I ask and they will pull from the back if needed. This place is our Saturday tradition. A classic donut shop with the sweetest owners. He noticed my dog and I standing outside as we waited for my husband to order and pay and we found some extra donut holes in our bag just for our pup 🥲.
