Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Dallas

WARNING! Do not order catering from this location. I'm not sure how the rest of Jersey Mikes do, but I've been screwed over twice by this location. The first time (in April), I ordered a couple of boxes in the morning to get at lunchtime. They told me it would be ready by the time I wanted, but I ended up having to wait a whole hour until I received my food. The second time was a couple of weeks ago (10/24). I ordered 60 sandwiches the day before I needed them, thinking this would help the wait time. I got confirmation and stressed the pick-up time, as we were hosting a workshop. I show up 5 minutes before my time and they had no order for me. The employee on the phone said I would pay when I picked them up, so I did not have a receipt. I showed who I assume was the manager my phone log where I spent 6 minutes discussing my order with their store. He yelled to the other coworkers "who was on the late shift yesterday?" I couldn't tell if he was trying to assign blame or if he was really trying to figure out what happened for my sake (side note: the way that the assistant manager responded to him was disrespectful. The atmosphere seemed pretty unhealthy). Either way, it was a waste of time. The person I spoke to evidently never submitted my order and I needed to feed 60 people in 30 minutes. The manager told me that the AM would discuss what he could do for me. He came up and told me that he can have my sandwiches in 2 hours. That was pretty much a slap in the face and I just walk straight out to figure out my next steps. Unapologetic and rude. I immediately call Potbelly's (who I would have gone with, as they are always easy to work with, but they don't have a gluten-free bread option) and they get my sandwiches to me in 40 minutes. Still late, but...

I love all of Jersey Mike's. All over the DFW area.

I just have to say that THIS particular store is AMAZING.

The staff is always so kind and courteous and helpful.

The other day I went in and got my regular 13 with EXTRA cheese!, chips and a draaaaaank. For some odd reason my bank card was not working. It wasn't being declined it just wouldn't approve. The nicest thing happened. They comped my meal and told me it was on them instead of taking a poor pregnant woman's sandwich and throwing it away and sending me out the door. I have worked in the service industry for over 15 years and it's not very often that company's workers have treated me as I would expect to treat any of my customers. Most companies only want their money and numbers to look good.

I love you guys so much! And you can be sure I will be back up there TOMORROW! and I expect you to charge me for my last order AND accept my super awesome tip for all your hard work and great attitudes!

I love Jersey Mikes, but went to get sandwiches today, and they were out of turkey... but that's not the problem I had. I left out because I wanted turkey, but changed my mind and went back in for a tuna sandwich, but the guy who was behind the counter had went to the back I guess, so the guy who was on break in the sitting area jumped behind the counter "with absolutely NO enthusiasm to serve me whatsoever", and DID NOT wash his hands, then proceeded to grab two plastic gloves from a drawer and put them on his UNWASHED hands, thus making the gloves completely USELESS! I changed my mind again, and said nevermind, I prefer someone with CLEAN HANDS to prepare my food! DISGUSTING! Will NOT be eating at this...
