When my family and I were searching for a special place to celebrate my anime-loving 12-year-old daughter’s birthday, we stumbled upon K-Pop Ramen in Dallas. My husband suggested it, and given our daughter’s love for ramen and the glowing reviews, I was on board. What we experienced went far beyond our expectations and made for a truly unforgettable evening.
Upon arrival, we were immediately drawn to the vibrant, arcade-style games and the cozy seating area. We chose a long table in the middle, where I placed my daughter’s birthday cake. Just a few minutes later, the owner approached us and offered to store the cake in the refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised by this thoughtful gesture and gratefully accepted.
K-Pop Ramen boasts an impressive menu with an extensive variety of ramen, dry ramen, fried rice, and more. The handheld menus were a nice touch, allowing us to peruse the options before ordering at the convenient kiosks. The array of choices is unparalleled—ranging from flavorful ramen bowls to an assortment of Boba drinks, Ramun sodas, and Macaron ice cream sandwiches.
Our food was nothing short of phenomenal. My husband and son opted for the combo meals, which included a soup, dumplings, and a drink at an unbeatable price. I indulged in the beef stew ramen, while the birthday girl enjoyed the dumpling ramen and fried rice. Every dish was exceptional, bursting with flavor and served in generous portions.
The service was equally impressive. Despite the streamlined ordering system, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. They checked in with us several times, asking if we needed anything and delivering our large order promptly. After we finished opening gifts, they brought out our cake and even offered plates and candles—such a thoughtful touch, even though we had brought our own supplies.
As we cleaned up our area, I personally thanked the owner and the staff for their outstanding service and delicious food. The owner’s response was incredibly humbling; he wished my daughter a happy birthday and offered her an ice cream sandwich. To our delight, he also gave one to my younger daughter and a complimentary Ramun soda. His generosity and kindness truly touched us and thanked him numerous times. He told us that he was just grateful that we decided to celebrate a birthday there.
K-Pop Ramen exceeded every expectation with their exceptional food, remarkable service, and genuine hospitality. It’s clear that they value their customers and take pride in creating memorable experiences. We will certainly be returning and will enthusiastically recommend this gem to all our family and friends. Thank you, K-Pop Ramen, for making my daughter’s birthday...

We stopped by after a late volleyball tournament (ended at 11pm), and luckily they’re open until 2am—which saved us from fast food.
Ordering is encouraged through the screen kiosks, but we also noticed the group after us just ordered direct with a staff member. It wasn’t a big deal, and the kiosks were fairly customizable and easy to use just fyi...
Food came out quickly, but the portions were small for the price. For example, I added shrimp for $8 and received only 5 tiny pieces—that’s $1.60 per shrimp, which felt like a rip-off. They didn’t give me any hassle about it when I brought it up and they were quick to fix for us.
Noodles were tasty, but light on portion—my 14-year-old was still hungry. Extra noodles or toppings cost more, and those extras really add up fast. For 3 of us, the total was about $85 before tip, which felt high considering the portion sizes.
Food was warm but not hot at least to me, and flavor was very nice, everyone loved the flavors like the broth and noodles and toppings. I had level 1 spice and it was just right for me—any more would’ve been too much. My daughter and wife ordered strawberry boba with lychee jelly but they both didnt like it because it tasted like medicine and I did try it, and agree that something was off but we are used to Hawaii style flavors. My Vietnamese coffee was good but not great.
Atmosphere was the highlight—neon lights, K-pop videos on the wall, and music made for a fun, modern vibe. Also, big shoutout to the one waitress working the floor—she was running around nonstop and still gave great service.
Dessert tip: Try the macaron ice cream...
Read moreI honestly don’t know how the ratings on this place are so high. At the max this place is a 2.5 -3. I guess it’s the bribes for a free drink when you leave a google review sign on the register. Okay so check it, my friend and I visited here 8/5/2023 ( per my request for light night boba).I ordered the dumpling ramen, bao buns ( chicken), and a Thai tea ( light boba). First thing I noticed is the tables needed cleaning. There were a good amount of staff so I don’t know why this was a lag. When Thai tea was brought out (my friend who ordered the same thing) , I asked ( the taller waitress with the dark hair)which tea was light boba she replied” I don’t know. I put one scoop of boba in both.” Walked off like we were inconveniencing her. Mind you the tea is 6 bucks + 1 for boba. 3.Ok this same waitress brought us someone else’s food, and when she did bring my ramen on a tray, she all but threw it down. Broth wasted on the side. That’s when I stopped her and said “ Ma’am what’s going on with you. I don’t know if you are having a bad day, but whoever did it to you it was not me.” She then apologized and made up some excuse.( I was over it by then. Ready to eat and go. So y’all remember I said I ordered boo buns right. When they came out looked nothing like I am seeing now. This was merely a chicken strip drenched in sweet baby Ray bbq sauce. Oh and it’s listed as an appetizer, but why did it come at the end of the meal. I wish I new I was gonna leave a review because I would have took pictures. Let not forget the strong urine smell
My total was 37 dollars. I wish I had spent my money else where because the ramen was...
