Ā Ā Ā Read moreDecided to try Lemongrass because my go to Thai take out place changed hands. Ordered a cup of Tom Kha, Green Curry with chicken and fried tofu appetizer. Portions were large and service was timely. The Tom Kha was okay but I was disappointed in the green curry which was very thin and lacked the tangy green curry flavor I love. Wish I could describe better what the problem with the flavor was, but it was just off. There was ample chicken and mini green eggplants (? Maybe those were the problem). The fried tofu appetizer had a tasty dipping sauce, but the batter was too delicate. Large and interesting menu so I may give them another chance and try some of the more unusual offerings.

Also looked up the little green eggplant, which turns out to be a common Thai ingredient; surprised I've not noticed them before during many years...

Fish sauce could be smelled from across the table but all together it was delicious- felt like a Thai inspired bibimbop. Salad rolls as an app were just salad, no protein. I was initially sad about that but their two sauces- sweet sesame and peanut are SO good I didnāt miss the protein at all. Lastly, mango sticky rice we shared⦠perfectly sweetened with a lovely ripe mango and rice cooked with the ideal chew factor. Nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back over...
