I lived in Brazil for two years and I've been to 10+ churrascarias both in country and in the US, including Texas de Brazil here in Dallas. You can trust me when I say that Villa's Grill holds it's own as a great Brazilian steakhouse.
We showed up at 5:30 on a Friday night and there were only 1 or 2 other tables with customers at the time. We sat in a booth with our toddler, which we were glad we did because they didn't offer us a high chair, maybe because they didn't have any.
The service we got was excellent, which is in contrast to previous reviews which said that wasn't the case. Our waiter probably filled my water glass about 7-8 times (I'd just run a half marathon that morning and I was very thirsty) without ever being asked to. The meat servers were also very attentive and brought us meat just about as fast as we could eat it. Whenever we made specific requests they always quickly accommodated us.
Other reviews have already mentioned that the salad bar is a little lacking, which is true. There were a few types of salads and toppings, with some rice and some Brazilian stroganoff. None of it was impressive and I didn't go back, but that wasn't what I was there for anyway. Right when we were seated, however, we were provided with fried bananas and pao de queijo (cheese bread) which were both very good, and they seemed happy to give us more when we wanted.
Now on to the meat of the issue. We came here over another cheaper churrascaria because my wife really likes lamb, and this place had two types. Overall, the meat options were delicious. Besides the lamb they had chicken, bacon wrapped chicken or filet mignon, sausage, parmesan pork or steak, flank steak, filet mignon, and picanha (the house special). We were very pleased with the quality of the meat and we specifically requested more of the flank steak and picanha. We also loved the fabled grilled pineapple, which helped cut through all of the meat we were eating. We were a little worried that the meat wouldn't be as good because we were obviously there earlier than their peak dining time, but we were not disappointed by the variety or quality of the preparation.
Overall, it was a great experience. Dinner price is $29.99 but we got 15% off for "checking-in" on Yelp, so it was much cheaper than the more expensive options here in Dallas for a very...

I went there with the fam as walk-ins on a Saturday, & we were seated upon arrival. You don't need a reservation but if your party is greater than 6 I suggest you call and book it, we got lucky and they JUST opened for lunch.
So that you don't look like a noob if it's your first time at Villas: when you are seated, unravel your napkin. You'll find your utensils and a small tong to grab the meats that they will cut for you. Once they slice the meat, they'll gesture when to grab it. At different times the waiters will bring several different types of meat on a metal rod, pace yourself and it's ok to say no (for my anxiety ppl).
Is the price worth it? Yup. It's all you can eat! 🤤 They'll give you and the party a green(plz feed me)/red(I am with food baby, stahp) card that you can flip for the waiters to know when to stop bringing you foods.
It is a fancy elegant place, some people come dressed up. However, there is no judgement if ya come in wearing your work or jogging clothes.

Read moreMy family and I just visited this spot for Mother’s Day today. They were BUSY. Due to this, I am being lenient with my rating. I agree that while they could use more selections, it isn’t something that’s a dealbreaker for me because too many selections also stress me out as well. I appreciate the more competitive pricing - $40/person is way better than the usual $60-$70+/person that I’ve seen at other places. That being said, their alcohol or bar could use some work. My husband said his old fashion didn’t taste good and I tasted no alcohol in the mango caipirinha I ordered yet they still managed to charge us cocktail bar price for this. In addition, their salad bar could use more work too in that there was poor lighting, no labels, and no fruit offered. Also, our server did forget to put in the order for my drink and we were charged adult price for my toddler, but those issues were rectified with management.
I did enjoy the guiso/stew, mushroom, plantains, and PINEAPPLE 🍍and I can’t complain about the meats (though lamb would be a nice addition). We’d happily return, just possibly for date night closer to the bar or front of the house without the kiddos as we also felt being shoved in the back of the restaurant made service just that more inconsistent. 3.5/5...
