We made reservations before a concert to enjoy a nice dinner with ample (90 minutes) time. We rushed through traffic to be on time for our reservation - thinking there'd be a separate entrance as indicated in the mail - the entrance was locked, upon asking we were told to wait with the crowd. How misleading to your customers. Then, as we waited and saw our nice dinner window reduced to fast-food timing. We finally got to the facility (it's not a restaurant) which was certainly named by someone who never had the misery of having to eat there. There is NOTHING "platinum" about an upper hallway, with casual tables, a catered buffet that a Sizzlers could have done better. Ordering a bottle of wine was by far the biggest mistake - the bar staff had neglected to set up the bar (how is that possible with a set dinner time?), and after about 15 minutes we were served a $45 bottle in PLASTIC CUPS! As for the food quality, the chicken and pork loin were completely dry, as expected by the remaining low quality of the entire venue. The prime rib slicer (can't call him a chef or cook) had to be instructed by the wait staff on how to slice before service (a little amusing anecdote we overheard), tried his best to saw the tough rib eye to slices, and top it with lumpy gravy (certainly was not a [au] jus). Overall an F at EVERY level, and certainly nowhere near what was promised ty the name. How terribly...
Read moreNow called the Yuengling Flight Club - Unfortunately, this experience was a major disappointment that spoiled what was supposed to be a fun and enjoyable date night that we had saved for for several months. The buffet is seriously lacking options, and the options that are available are sub-par. We felt that what we paid was extremely overpriced for what was offered, and was a complete waste of our money. It's really a shame that this dinner put such a damper on our evening, because if done well it could have been unforgettable. The only positive about this experience was the staff - the service was very friendly. Unfortunately though, this does not make up for the poor value in food. I cannot recommend this restaurant and would advise you to spend your evening AND you money elsewhere. Even nachos from the concession stands would be a better option than dining at the Yuengling...
Read moreThe staff there were great. Welcoming, courteous, with great service. We didn't have reservation but we were seated without having to wait when we showed up at this restaurant soon after the door to AAC opened. I mostly had vegetable dishes, with some roasted pork, cold cut meat and some cheese and crackers. Everything I had was delicious. My husband had some chicken and steak and they were somewhat overcooked, dry and hard. The soda they brought to him didn't taste right at all. We both thought it's overpriced here for the selection of the...
