I am giving 3 stars because the service was very good and the atmosphere was nice. The food, however, was awful. We are well versed in trying new places to eat and do so often. I don’t think we’ve ever been so disappointed in a meal! I ordered the Crab Ravioli. The pieces of lobster were rubbery, and the white sauce was very watery. It was more like a soup with dumplings on the bottom. The taste was very bland. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan which he said was equally as bad (I didn’t taste it). Our kids split a lasagna which is made with brisket. Even the children would not eat their food! I tried the lasagna because I was still hungry as I couldn’t finish the ravioli. The sauce had a very brassy flavor, and the noodles were sticky. I have never made a negative review here, but I feel the owner should be aware of the food quality. We visited on Saturday evening, 1/7/23, as guests of the Hyatt Regency while in town for the Safari Club Convention. Again, the staff was great and the atmosphere was ambient and clean. Our only complaint is the food. The menu prices were a bit on the high side so we were expecting a meal at least comparable to the cost. We usually spend between $150-300 on a meal for the four of us, but it really hurt me to sign that receipt for $200. We will definitely not be...
Read moreAbsolutely exceptional! While I was staying at the Hyatt for the weekend I was recommended Parrinos. Me and a friend went for dinner on Friday and was greeted in a friendly manner by the staff and seated. We ordered the margarita pizza and got a side of garlic bread. We didnt wait long for our dinner to arrive and it looked stunning! It also tasted phenominal, perfect Italian styled cooking. The tomatoes on top were cooked to perfection and the marinara sauce that we dipped the garlic bread into made it heavenly. We left that night very happy and full.
Saturday morning we decided to go again for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast quesadilla. Loaded with egg and sausage and a hint of vegetables it was delicious. I could not have started my day on a better note.
If you're visiting the Hyatt I highly recommend Parrinos. The price is well worth the food and the...
Read moreThis place has absolutely gone downhill of late. I have eaten here at several conventions over the years, but it is absolutely no longer even worth considering to eat at.
The food is barely flavored, and over cooked. Noodles that must have been boiling all day. Pizza that is almost entirely mozzarella without sauce or toppings, no matter what it was, and lasagne that's just a pile of stuff that's thrown together and reheated. All of which may have seen seasonings only from across the room.
Then if you buy dessert, it's likely to be frozen in the middle when brought to the table.
To top it all off, you are unlikely to see a waiter between getting your food and them bringing the bill as they are apparently tired of being told how much...
