A Flavorful Escape at Pesca in Trinity Groves – Where Every Bite Surprises!**

If you’re hunting for a lively, unpretentious spot that delivers knockout flavors without breaking the bank, Pesca at Dallas’ Trinity Groves is your answer. My family’s Saturday afternoon visit—strategically timed to dodge crowds—turned into a feast of “unexpected” delights, just as their motto promises. With ample parking (a rare urban perk!) and a buzzing yet welcoming vibe, this gem is a must-try.

Nestled in the eclectic Trinity Groves food hall, Pesca radiates warmth with its vibrant, coastal-inspired decor. The energy is infectious but never overwhelming—think cheerful chatter, sunlit spaces, and a staff that greets you like old friends. The owner himself welcomed us at the door, escorting us to our table while chatting up the day’s specials like a proud host.

The owner’s passion was contagious. He raved about the Saturday Mixed Grill—a sizzling platter of Wagyu steak (meltingly tender), plump grilled shrimp, and salmon with a smoky char. We couldn’t resist. But first: Pesca Margaritas. Tangy, balanced, and rimmed with intrigue (was that a hint of chili salt?), they set the tone for what was coming.

Our server, a cocktail and cuisine connoisseur, guided us through appetizers. We trusted his picks—tuna tartare with crispy plantain chips (a textural marvel) and grilled octopus paired with a zesty citrus salad. For wine, the list is concise but expertly curated; his suggestion of a bright Spanish Albariño cut through the richness of the seafood flawlessly.

The mixed grill? A showstopper. The Wagyu lived up to its hype, the shrimp were succulent, and the salmon—moist and herb-kissed—won over even my skeptical teen. Portions were generous, prices shockingly reasonable for the quality. No “mortgage dinner” vibes here—just hearty, skillfully prepared dishes that feel like a splurge without the guilt.

It’s the details: the owner’s hands-on charm, the staff’s genuine enthusiasm, and cocktails that outshine pricier mixology bars. Even the “short” wine list proved thoughtful—no filler, all hits. And that tagline? “Expect the unexpected” nails it. From the creative twists on classics to the wallet-friendly luxury, Pesca keeps you delightfully off-balance.

Pesca is a triumph—a place where stellar food, vibrant energy, and affordability collide. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Trinity Groves, don’t miss this spot. We’re already plotting our return… maybe next time for...

Very cool space, especially the bar! We came for brunch: Appetizers: -Fried calamari was a little overcooked, but I liked how thin the pieces were and both sauces with it were good. -Crisby pork belly wasn't bad, but there were a bunch of conflicting flavors going on.

Entrees: -Steak and avocado salad was 5 stars and easily the best thing we had. I'd go back just for this salad. The steak was cooked perfectly with a nice charred crust and perfect medium rare center. The vinaigrette was like garlic butter sauce with chimichurri herbs, delicious! -Fried catfish sandwhich was really good, but I wish the slaw had more mayo and acid to it to go with the thick bread and fried fish. -Lobster roll was solid but nothing to write home about.

Since it was brunch our table didn't have many cocktails besides the Nautical Thyme, it was solid but nothing special, we asked the bartender to add a splash of sparkling wine and that made it more balanced.

Would definitely come back here for the vibes, price point, salad, and fried...

Pesca is the place to be. From start to finish, my visit was nothing short of exceptional.

To start, the Rockefeller Oysters were absolutely amazing—perfectly baked with just the right balance of richness and flavor. The other appetizers I tried were equally impressive, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert preparation.

For the main course, I had the Salmon with Lemon Caper Sauce, and it was cooked to perfection. The salmon was tender and flaky, and the sauce added a beautiful brightness that complemented the dish without overpowering it.

To top it all off, I enjoyed the Guilty Pineapple, a cocktail that was both refreshing and flavorful—a perfect pairing for the meal.

Beyond the food, what truly sets Pesca apart is its excellent service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was enjoyable.

If you're a seafood enthusiast or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, Pesca is a must-visit. I can't...

Absolutely LOVE this place. Y’all!! How have I been living in Dallas this long and not know about this spot? I am so mad at myself for missing out! But now I know, and loves, you HAVE to go. The food? EVERYTHING was delicious, high quality, and cooked with precision. I had the fish and chips, and they were so crispy and seasoned so perfectly, I was an instant fan. I also had a coconut lemonade for the first time ever in life and OMG!!!! I’m hooked. It was refreshing, surprising, and just the right amount of sweet. To top it all off, the manager came by and was just the chillest, sweetest person. He even told us about their Friday events in the park. LOVE! If you’re looking for a good meal and a great vibe, I highly recommend Pesca. Definitely worth a visit. ♥️
