Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dallas

I do not like when establishments make up their own individual rules and not follow company guidelines, and of course I looked at the reviews after I paid when it was too late… Placed my order and when to ask for the specific pieces of chicken that my family eats (as I have done at ever other Popeyes) and was informed that this location is “not allowed to let guest select the pieces” which is crazy because if I am spending my money I should have a say so on what goes in the box… Due to this unfortunate error I had to order one specific piece individually to ensure my picky eater got food and again I was told “we’re not allowed to sell one piece.” Now at this point I’m not sure why they are allowed to be open! When placing my order I informed the lady I was using an app coupon and she asked for the code which instantly market it redeemed, upon getting to the window she demanded to see the coupon. I informed her it’s gone now that it’s used. To which she stated you need to show me the coupon or at least that u have the app. Now I’m no Einstein but if I gave u a code and it was valid and redeemed upon order why am I needing to show you my recent orders on my app!? Even if it wasn’t my code someone somewhere had to select this specific location and select redeem in restaurant to get a code for a one time use…. Nothing about this was acceptable and after seeing older reviews saying they were told the same thing I’ll be driving a little further up to Buckner location...

Do not waste your time coming to this location it is infested with flies. The workers do not utilize gloves while handling food and are constantly touching all over everything without sanitizing or cleaning their hands. I literally saw a team lead or shift leader dipping his fingers in mashed potatoes and wiping his hands all over his shirt and pants after scratching all over his face. 🤢 When you place a mobile order they still make you stand in line which defeats the purpose of ordering online for easy and fast pickup! Especially if you have kiddos and expect to just swing by to pick up your order and leave. The customer service is horrible and the employees have gross and negative attitudes. Do yourself a favor a pick a DIFFERENT...

Awful. If I could give no stars it would still be too much. 1st off they don't honor their online deals, "only what we have on our boards". Scrawniest, over cooked, lukewarm chicken to have to wait on for it to come "hot out of the grease". Told to Drive & park around anywhere out front & would be brought out. I sat for 19 mins before I saw a worker come out with someone else's order that was behind me in line to ask about my order. They wouldn't answer their phone. Finally food came out. Got food home & found out no redbeans & rice. Called to let them know about the discrepancy & you had to leave a msg...I have still not heard from them & have called them 3 more times...very unhappy!
