PIcked up an internet order Wednesday, 8/1/18 at 11:20am, three sandwiches and chips. I approached the left side of the counter with my order printed out, waited on the large African American lady behind the counter to look up. When she did I told her I had an online order to pickup - "I NEED A NAME" she replied loudly. I told her again it was an online order and I had a order #, but no name. "I NEED A NAME" she replied again. So I gave her my name and the name of the lady that placed the online order. She turned away and asked "HOW MANY SANDWICHES", to which I replied "Three". Complete silence while she bagged my sandwiches and chips, then gave me my order and of course, no "thank you". This is the most hateful service I have received in sometime. She genuinely acted like I ruined her day in asking for my prepaid order. If it hadn't been prepaid, I would have left it with her. The food is always great here, but I won't be back. I'll eat a sandwich out of a plastic convenience store wrapper or a greasy mcdonald's burger before I go back to any potbelly. In this day and age of extreme competition for your dollar, I don't see how people like this keep a job. Good luck with this gal running off your customers. You people want a pleasant sandwich experience? Try a Chick-Fil-A. They know how to treat their customers. After reading the reviews below, I believe the same African American gal must have upset more than just me, quite a few customers looks like have been treated like...
Read morePotbelly is my go to place for food fast, not fast food. This place provides quality food with the fast service, differentiating itself from most conventional fast food chains. My go to is the mushroom melt without the mushrooms. I know, I know. Not even going to bother explaining right now. Anywho, this sandwich is loaded with cheese of 3 different kinds - cheddar, provolone and swiss, topped with avocado, and the other essential toppings that make up for a sandwich. Their signature ingredient are the jalapenos! So good and demanding, they sell them by the jar. The twist and the secret to making these jalepenos drooling over is that they are mixed with other pickled vegetables including olives, diced celery, onions, carrots, etc. The kick to the jalepenos are mouth watering, literally! They also have some of the best cookies, baked fresh daily. Be sure to try their oatmeal chocolate chip. That's right, oatmeal CHOCOLATE CHIP, not oatmeal raisin (yuck). Often times, I stop in here just for the cookie. That good. The only negative I have is that they thinly slice all their veggies, so it does turn out to be a sad skinny sandwich, but still filling for a...
Read moreThis used to be the best spot with quick and great service but after today's experience, I'm not sure I will be back. It's part my fault because as soon as I saw the girl who has has been working there about 4 to 6 months, I knew I should had turned around and walked out. This young girl has no sense of urgency or team effort, she just stands there and waits while 8 sandwiches backed up on belt (my 2 we're in the middle) until the manager finally said something. When we received the sandwiches they were cold and then I had already paid and had to wait on a salad I had ordered. I'm not sure what happened to the other crew but it's the one employee who seems to stand waiting for someone else to do the work. It's a shame. I don't know how they make it through lunch rush unless she is scheduled evenings only. I was standing there waiting for 30 minutes (a couple in front of us who were completely forgotten about, 2 guys in front of us, then ME, then a young lady behind us) I come here once a week. PLEASE HELP THIS LOCATION. While waiting for salad and customer was on the phone complaining...
