The Pizza is Fantastic. But that is where it ends. I know this is a new place and the hype is still very high. I am not a overly picky Pizza eater so I cannot say if this is "the best" ever, but i can say it was good. However, I want to walk through the experience... My spouse and l got there around 6:30pm and we were about 3-4 people behind getting INTO the door. That was probably around 6:45pm. Once we got inside, the line had significantly grown outside and the staff had to move the line to go down the side of the building (assuming to create a buzz as traffic as passing?) Inside, THE MUSIC WAS SO FREAKING LOUD, WAY TOO LOUD. As we were in line there is one large TV Monitor with the menu. Behind the 6ft tall glass counter display you see various kinds of pizzas on display. There was one young lady taking the orders over the tall glass case and customers have to literally scream at her because (yep, you guessed it the music was so loud and the counter so dang tall you cant hear the employee or them hear you. YOU HAVE TO SCREAM YOUR ORDER (hence the all caps). We finally got to the order counter around 7:15pm. And just as our luck would have it the small family (mom, dad and little boy) ordered their food. At this point the girl taking orders is now ringing up orders because she was getting overwhelmed on the order line (all by herself mind you), while a dozen other employees were doing making pizzas and two other employees, one cutting pizza and one literally walking around at the front counter doing nothing. AND what I believe was the Manager folding Pizza boxes. The Manager, IMO, should have seen the wait line and got behind the counter to help. Back to the family...they ordered, the flustered girl rang up the order, but did it wrong...at least 3 times. This family was trying to pay for, no joke, about 15 minutes. While all of this is happening, the person who was doing nothing realized they needed to be taking the orders. SO I SCREAMED MY ORDER TO HER OVER THE 6FT COUNTER. Luckily, she got it right, after telling her 2 times. Once we got to pay, that part went mostly OK. A little slow, but it was OK. By some miracle, we got our pizza pretty quickly. There was a single lady in front of the family. She was still waiting on her small order. I felt bad. They did offer her a free soda. We went out to their out-door seating. It was cooler outside, but they did have heaters on. The outdoor dining area was TRASHED (I'm not yelling this time, just making a point) Although, the music was pretty loud out there too, it was not too bad. The amount of trash (napkins, dirty cups, empty boxes, overflowing trash cans) was shocking. Out of all those employees inside they couldn't spare one person to keep the dining area clean? So, while the pizza is good, the experience sucks. I will order next time. Never will i wait in line again: i will only eat in person if I for sure know it will not take 45 or more minute to order 4...

So many bad reviews from people mad that they had to wait in line and never even tried the product 🙄 the place has literally been open for 2 days and No One told you to stand out in a thunderstorm for hours to get a slice during the first few days, that was a personal choice especially since you could have ubereats one. Also anyone claiming to be ordering a pickup for before 10am, how? They don't even open until 11, calling bs. They close at 11pm but if there is a line they will put a cut off at about 10:20-1030pm,

That being said we did wait for hours in the rain and it was fine, the managers offered a bunch of very large umbrellas for people outside to use and they had a few canopies set up. The interior is small, this is not a dine in restaurant. They do have an outdoor patio available for days with good weather but Prince st has always been more of a grab and go place.

The pizza was delicious, we got a whole naughty pie and a slice each of the mercer. The mercer was sooo good, thin crispy crust, great flavor. Naughty pie took a bit to make but was delicious and worth it. Yes the whole pizzas are a little expensive at $40 but each slice is between $6-9 and very hearty so you don't really need a whole pie unless feeding a group. Get the sicilian style square pizza, it's always better than the neapolian style triangle slices. The crispy cup pepperoni is fantastic, love the hot honey sauce. Get the cheesecake 😋

It is not exactly the same as the Prince St in New York, they put great care in the ingredients and have a special water filtration system set up to get close to NY water, but it's not exact. Still for 90% of the taste & flavor and saves a trip to NY, I'll take it.

Overall it was great. Glad to have one here, we will definitely...

The absolute worst food experience I’ve had and witnessed in a long time. Let’s start with the fact that not a single person seemed to have a clue or interest in being there working. Waited over 30min before asking about my pizza order which I was then told I only waited 29min and pizza should be out In 12 more minutes which I replied I do t have the time as I was on my lunch break/ while at work. As I started this conversation more of the customer that were there waiting before me started to speak up as well. Some were there for as long as 1hr 20min and was told his pizza was giving to someone else, after a couple min they came back and told this gentleman they found it under a different name other customers kept coming as I tried to get a refund which the manager was unable to process after 15min of trying at which time I called my $32 order a lost or will make a claim via my CC provider. While I wait the guys working on the pizza along with a young lady who was cutting the pizza never bother to have a care for sanitary conditions or process. Guy dropped a wooden spoon in the garage bin next to his boxing station, pick it out the bin and proceed to take pizza out the over with it. Drops marker on the floor pick it up and continue to cut pies as if nothing happened. Young lady cutting pizza was wearing gloves while cutting , but never changed them after multi tasking between helping take order , processing orders on their screens talk g boxes, what a mess this place is. Save yourself the hassle as the pizza did not even look anything like their other locations in NY or Chicago. Owner needs to shut this place down and train proper staff that want ti work and not just listen to cool music and act as if it all...

NYC’s most iconic pizza spot just landed in Dallas 👀 Prince St. Pizza — known for their crispy, spicy SoHo squares — officially opens Friday on Henderson, and it’s so worth the hype !! 🍕(get the spicy spring & thank me later) 📍2820 N. HOT TIPS. Show up 20 minutes before opening. I went on a Saturday and was second in line. Ordered at 11:01am and was in my car by 11:08am. Call ahead and order a whole pie for take out if you want to get in and out. You can order through UberEats but the price is much higher. Don’t wait in the line if you’re just there to pick up. Whole pies are made fresh, slices are reheated. I’d pick cheese pizza over pepperoni any day but the pepperoni cups are 10/10. Tried Prince St in SoHo last month and had the Original Prince whole pie. It was pretty good if you like cheese pizza. I was not a fan of the Sicilian style pizza at first but the pepperoni cups made up for it! I prefer the Naughty Pie because of the vodka sauce but I got a whole Spicy Spring for the guys at home. No one ate the pizza when I brought it home because the dough wasn’t cooked through. I think the pizza base is par baked. There’s room for improvement…and they also just opened a few weeks ago so I’ll be back! A reheated slice will taste better than a fresh whole pie if dining in considering length of total bake time. The pizza was supeerrrr good reheated in a toaster oven at home so the pizza gets a 7/10 as leftovers. The pizza oven to reheat slices is way too small at the moment but I’m sure as the hype dies down the wait for slices won’t be so terrible. Someone in line told me the wait was an hour to order and three hours to get their slice earlier in this week.

As a New Yorker living in Dallas, one of the hardest things for me has been finding food that truly captures that real New York flavor — especially pizza. There’s just something about the water, the dough, and the way it’s cooked back home that’s hard to replicate. But Prince Street Pizza Dallas comes closer than anyone else has. This spot is an extension of the original NYC location, and as soon as I took my first bite, I could tell they’ve done their homework. I’d rate the NY authenticity an 8 out of 10 — the flavor is almost spot-on, and while the crispiness isn’t quite there yet, it’s close enough to make me nostalgic. I ordered The OG, Pepperoni, and Meat Lovers slices. The Pepperoni easily takes the crown — thick, spicy, and perfectly cheesy, it was the closest to that signature New York slice I’ve missed so much. The others could use a touch more oven time to hit that perfect crunch, but the taste was on point. We went during opening week, so the lines were long — about a 2-hour wait — but honestly, it was worth it. The staff handled the rush well, and the energy was great. I’ll definitely be coming back in a couple of months once they’ve fully settled in, but for now, this was the closest I’ve felt to being back home in New York. If you’re from NYC or just appreciate authentic New York–style pizza, Prince Street Pizza in Dallas is a must-visit.
