We pulled up today, an hour before they closed and tried to go in the lobby but the door was locked. The drive-through was open though and we ordered 3 drinks. Two were the same - tart cherry - but one was the “collagen” version, which doesn’t contain dairy, while the other was the “x-treme” version, which does contain dairy.
After waiting for 5 minutes at the window, they asked us to move to the parking lot so they could help the two cars behind us. After another 10 minutes they brought out the drinks, which were unmarked. The problem is the tart cherries looked identical and one of our group has a dairy allergy. Kind of a weird oversight but I could tell they were busy so no worries. We pulled right around and asked about it. They said they had put the receipt on the cup but it had fallen off. They stared blankly at us like they didn’t know how to solve that problem.
We asked if they could remake the collagen one (the allergic person is 2 years old and we didn’t want her to end up in the urgent care) but the other person would drink whichever drink since they didn’t have an allergy. That way the workers only needed to make one. They acted like this was not an option and tried to claim the collagen tart cherry contained dairy because it has collagen in it. It doesn’t - that’s like saying you can’t eat hamburger with a dairy allergy. It’s from a cow sure, but it doesn’t have milk in it. They then tried to say the x-treme, with dairy whey powder in it… doesn’t have dairy in it. So weird. We didn’t even get to mention that the baby also has an egg allergy… which the x-treme contains in its protein powder. Why argue when they clearly refused to fix the problem.
In fact, they were getting so argumentative that we just asked for the drinks we had handed them back and left. I know they’re busy there but these are serious allergies that we have worked around at other Smoothie King locations without spending almost half an hour in line only to get no drinkable...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I had at a smoothie king.. The cashier was very rude.. I needed a refund because she gave me the end piece of a loaf for my toast which I noticed after I bit into the toast. When I asked the cashier for my refund, she said that’s not a good reason for a refund and I said it after I bit into the toast. I told her I didn’t notice until after I bit into it.She said for me to get the refund via the app and took back the toast. I couldn’t find refund feature on the app so I went in the store.Inside the store , I asked to speak or contact information for a manager. The cashier rudely said she is not here and I can’t give out her contact information. I said well I’m not leaving without a refund due to you now having the toast I want the refund for.Since another customer asked for a manager, the rude cashier finally called the manager. The manager agreed for my refund.. this was a lot to go thru for a simple refund.
Update: I filled out the feedback survey and never received a response. I went back to the same smoothie King to try it again the same cashier that I had the issue with was there. Again she had the same terrible attitude. It’s a shame that I will have to drive to a different juicing establishment to receive good...

I order the Acai Cocoa Haze online every single day, so the manager at Smoothie King – 2304 W Mockingbird Ln, Dallas, TX definitely knows who I am. The first time I got it, it looked beautiful — well-made, full, and worth every penny.
Now? It’s like a horror show. The bananas look like they’ve been cut days ago, barely any are placed on top, the bowl is halfway full, and it looks like someone just threw it together without a care in the world. The presentation is awful, and the quality is nowhere near what I’m paying $12 a day for.
I honestly feel like this manager is deliberately making my orders wrong. Every time I order from another location, it’s made perfectly. So what’s the excuse here?
On top of that, this manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. She never greets customers, doesn’t smile, and has the worst attitude. It’s like we’re bothering her just by walking in.
I’m DONE. I will no longer be ordering from this location. It’s sad because I loved my daily smoothie, but I refuse to be disrespected and shorted by someone who clearly doesn’t care. Smoothie King corporate needs to take a serious look at who’s running this store — she’s costing you...
